Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW32 is live! The last of the normal game-weeks before the silly season descends upon us with double and blank game-week’s ahead in abundance. And there we were thinking that it looked so simple, it couldn’t look any less so now if it tried. Everton are probably the flag bearers for the chaos that is about to ensue with a dodgy away fixture this week, then two doubles in a row followed by a blank and then two favourable home fixtures either side of yet another double! There are only actually 7 teams unaffected by the whole nonsense over the next few weeks and those include extremes of sweet and sour such as Leicester and Villa, with 5 in between those, so careful how you go and plan well! Onto this week…

First WC draft, 0m ITB… Thoughts?

Melons, people keep telling me to not get Palace at all, can you bin Delaney ?

      • Pancho says:

Melon, I’d say that Gabriel will likely score better in one match than Delaney usually would in 2. Granted he scored a goal today, but he’s not likely to get a CS in any match and his goals/game ratio tells us he won’t score again this season, so he is likely to give you 3-5 pts in a DGW, where Gabriel is likely to keep at least one CS in their double in GW34.

      Pancho says:

Melon, the defense is a little weak for my liking, but the only place I think a downgrade could work well is Kane -> Martial. That would give you 3.3 to spread elsewhere. Maybe Alli -> Barkley and Ake -> Kosc?!

      • MelonCat says:

Cheers elle/pancho. Don’t think I want to lose Alli/Mahrez or Kane as getting them back in would be difficult. What about this team?

      • Pancho, what are you doing with Fab for the next gw ?

        • Pancho says:

Elle, I was just looking at that. Had originally hoped he would provide some differential points this week and next and then he would become Coutinho, but he played so deep against Villa he was rarely anywhere near the box.. I’m now wondering if I should consider him a one-week blunder and get Coutinho before he rises. Problem is I had planned on Kane -> Lukaku with my GW33 FT so I’d need to take a hit to do both and I just don’t know if I can justify taking a hit the week after playing my WC. I really considered saving the FT and just going straight for Coutinho with my WC but I got stubborn because part of my reasoning for the early WC was Chelsea coverage against Villa. Almost went for Azpil instead but no use with the “What-ifs” now.
What are your thoughts on Fab?

        • Take the hit Panch, sod it being the week after your WC, you’ll make it back easy.

Elle – looks good. Whats the Coutinho plan you have? How did KDB look today? Having a look at Mitrovic myself.

      • Dreams, i can’t decide wether to play Couthino or Mahrez next gw. If i stick with Mahrez, Coutinho will come in for gw 34. Don’t know how KDB played but he only played 56 mins but did score.

        • inittowinit says:

Played well by all accounts. The short game time was inevitable regardless of the scoreline. Be interesting to see what minutes he gets midweek as that’ll likely impact on his usage next weekend too. Pretty sure he’s going in mine regardless.

        • DMC says:

So init, with that In mind, are you planning around a gw33 WC with KDB, Sanchez, Kun, Payet, Luk and Kane or are you willing to go without any of those? Struggling here to build a decent team for dgw34 with all those in. Nevermind Bellerin, Barkley, DDG and the lot.
          Maybe a back 7 under (4.5*7smile 31,5 or around that is needed…

        • inittowinit says:

Interesting that DMC, posted my team as it is since in the comments and it is sans Kane and KdB although ideally it’d include both of those. Not sure there’s enough worthwhile savings to be made to accomodate them in all honesty but feel free to try by all means!

      Pancho says:

Elle, I like the team and the plan, except Coutinho is to rise tomorrow according to FFF. Stoke gave up 2 at home to Swansea today, so Liverpool could go for 3 or 4 next week. I imagine Coutinho will rise the full .3 this week anyway, so your hand will be forced midweek. Might as well save yourself the .1 and the stress and go with Coutinho today or early tomorrow before the price rise.
Also, if Moreno were guaranteed to play both in their DGWs then I think he is a better choice thank Sakho. The problem is Flanagan. I had Moreno before WC and played it safe with Sakho, per (I think) Kop’s advice. I think those are the comments above of mine you were referring to (for anyone else interested). smile

So this is my team currently, still got all chips left but not decided on when to use WC and other chips?

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Thanks!

      TheDreamers says:

Hi Shadow – on the basis you will play either BB or TC on either 34 or 37, you will either wc in 33 or 36 right?

so thats the first decision you need to make

      • Shadow says:

Yes was originally gonna WC in 36 but then the Everton Palace game got re arranged so was leaning towards 33. I’m about 50 points behind in my ML so maybe I should try and catch up sooner rather than later although he still has all his chips left too!

If I WC in 33 then probably bench boost in 34 and TC in 37

      Pancho says:

Shadow, I’d WC right now to beat rises on Coutinho and Lukaku. They will both likely rise .3m the next 3-5 days, so even if you don’t end up keeping them for GW 33 you will have made some cash on them. I think they are worth building your team around though. I’d do something like:
      Out: Ruddy- Wolsch-Toby-Ozil-Alli-King-Vardy
      In: Robles-Sakho-Rojo-Lennon-Coutinho-Lukaku

Does the cash work on those moves???

No doubt there will be some minor tweaks over the coming days but here is my WC team

      TheDreamers says:

looks good Mitro. Only questions really are re Delaney, Evans, Simpson and KDB really for me for various reasons

      • MattX says:

I agree with Dreamers on a few of those players mate ie: Delaney and Evans. KDB should be good and as for Simpson it depends on your plans for BB.

        • Mitro says:

Matt/Dreamers – KDB looked awesome and will only get better over the next few games!

Fair comments regarding Evans and Delaney but there’s not a lot I can do unless I lose of my midfielders or downgrade bellerin or cech!
Simpson is in there to make my life a bit easier when it comes to GW35

        • Mitro says:

          Could upgrade Evans to sahko?

        • MattX says:

I was just about to suggest Sakho for Evans mate.

        • Mitro says:

The sahko move actually works out quite well

        • Pancho says:

Mitro, I like it better with Sakho as well. I’d also consider playing him ahead of Bellerin. I know, Bell has 12 & 14 in the last two GWs, but WHU almost always seem to score 2 goals. Tough call on who to play, but Sakho in for Evans is probably a good move, although WBA kept a clean sheet today :/

        • Mitro says:

Cheers for the feedback pancho – it is appreciated mate

    MattX says:

Evening fellas. WC is activated and this is how my team looks for next week. Had a few thoughts though, how does this sound or should I just leave it as is?

    Monreal –> Gabriel
    Couthino –> Lallana
    Ozil –> Sanchez

I’d have 2 Mil left over if I did those moves. I’m unsure on the Couthino move but he can be inconsistent and Lallana has been doing good lately.

    Cech

    Daniels Huth ??

Williams has Chelsea Pieters has Liverpool and Dawson has City

Would you transfer out Williams or Pieters for Ward as he is cheap and has a DGW then can sit on the bench for the rest of the season.
