Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW32 is live! The last of the normal game-weeks before the silly season descends upon us with double and blank game-week’s ahead in abundance. And there we were thinking that it looked so simple, it couldn’t look any less so now if it tried. Everton are probably the flag bearers for the chaos that is about to ensue with a dodgy away fixture this week, then two doubles in a row followed by a blank and then two favourable home fixtures either side of yet another double! There are only actually 7 teams unaffected by the whole nonsense over the next few weeks and those include extremes of sweet and sour such as Leicester and Villa, with 5 in between those, so careful how you go and plan well! Onto this week…

    Hi all,
After wcing, my team looks as below with plans to do Lennon to Continental after GW33. Is there another person I should consider bringing in to the team?

So I finally chased the leaders down and cracked the #1 spot in my ML. Landed on 68 so far this weekend with Schmeichel, Mahrez, and Vardy to play tomorrow. Now I need to keep the pedal to the medal as we say in the States and keep rolling. Anyone else have a decent start?

And those of you considering your WC, who do we need to get in tonight to avoid price changes? I already have Bellerin, do we think Sanchez will rise tonight? He’s at 82.3% on FPL Statistics right now.

Hello Red! Great news on the ML, good feeling that I’ll bet! Yes I’d activate now and start collecting players ASAP really. Fix got Sanchez marked as a rise tomorrow but I wouldn’t take that risk, no reason to really. Mines getting pressed in about 10 mins when I get on my laptop and he’s coming straight in.

      • RedVT says:

Hey Init, thanks! OK, Sanchez to come in tonight then. I have a couple other WC related questions if you or anyone else who’s around feels like chiming in.

        – Are there any ‘differential’ DGW players that you’re considering, perhaps from Palace with (2) DGWs in a row, or maybe Mitrovic or another Newcastle player who has 2 home matches and is fighting to stay up?

        – Is Iwobi nailed for Arsenal do you think after 2 excellent performances?

        – Which United defenders are nailed? And who starts up front if/when Rooney is back and ready?

        – Are you keeping any non-DGW players like Mahrez or anyone who you’ve got tons of value built up in, or are you going all in with 15 DGW players?

        • inittowinit says:

Bloody hell mate! Ok here goes as best as I can –

          – I may take in a Palace mid but that’s all for proper differentials really unless cash forces me down that route but it’ll be minimal.

          – I wouldn’t say nailed at all no, I’m not taking anyone who offers up a risk like that.

          – DDG and Smalling. Maybe Rojo.

          – I’ll keep 1 or 2 for sure. Not worked out who yet though in all honesty.

        • RedVT says:

OK, thanks Init! Still plenty of time to figure all that out and luckily we have lots of supporters from different clubs on the boards to offer insight. I’m also wondering if Welbeck is nailed or not, but for now I’ll just get in the players who may rise and keep working on it.

It’s going to be a very busy FPL week! smile

        • inittowinit says:

It will be mate and I’m just about to go on holiday with a WC active, hardly ideal timing!

Congrats Red. I’m slowing catching my ML leader only a few points behind him now and then I can be the one saying I’m top of the table haha smile

I’ve brought in Sanchez already mate I think he’s going to be the most incoming transfer this week.

      • RedVT says:

Nice on Matty, keep grinding away and hopefully you’ll catch them in the next couple weeks! smile

Yup, gonna grab Sanchez for sure tonight, and maybe Coutinho and Lukaku as Pancho suggested to beat the price rises.

        • MattX says:

That’s the plan cheers Red smile

Yeah I’ve brought in Couthino as well but I think I’m going to keep Kane over Lukaku just feel that not having Kane would hurt me.

      Pancho says:

Hey Red, I hit my WC yesterday and it payed off as I have 83pts with Mahrez and Simpson to play!
Lukaku, Coutinho, and Sanchez are all in danger of rising tonight (even if there not at 100% on FFF). I’d get them in asap to avoid that as I think they will all rise the full .3 this week. In the past 2 days Fabregas and Adrian both went up while still in the 80% range, so don’t risk it!

Hey guys.. Is there any point in using my wc when I stupidly used my bb in gw2 and gained an extra 4 points from it. I can get 9-10 dgw playera by taking a few hits. Would it be more beneficial in gw 37 for me to use it?

    hammers says:

Not many takers for Barkley in these WC teams.

    Surprising considering he’s got 3 dgw’s

    76pts so far this weekend.

    Good return on my WC.

    Thanks for the opinions gents

Hope you all had good results?

      • RedVT says:

Great score James! I had a good week too, on 68 points with 3 Leicester boys still to play tomorrow. Now I’m trying to get my head around a WC team for next week, and happy to be able to see yours and Panchos for reference. Pretty ballsy pulling the trigger a week ‘early’- glad it worked out for you guys! smile

        • James101 says:

          Nice!

Thanks. I think there are pros and cons, but I do think it’s a game of calculated risks.

And it halfed my Overall Rank so I’m happy!

Post your drafts mate. Lots of good advice on here.

James, nice one! I had a similar week on mine as well. It’s what I hoped for from this week with the early WC. Could still bite us in the @$$ if there are injuries this week. Only time will tell…
