Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW32 is live! The last of the normal game-weeks before the silly season descends upon us with double and blank game-week’s ahead in abundance. And there we were thinking that it looked so simple, it couldn’t look any less so now if it tried. Everton are probably the flag bearers for the chaos that is about to ensue with a dodgy away fixture this week, then two doubles in a row followed by a blank and then two favourable home fixtures either side of yet another double! There are only actually 7 teams unaffected by the whole nonsense over the next few weeks and those include extremes of sweet and sour such as Leicester and Villa, with 5 in between those, so careful how you go and plan well! Onto this week…

So here’s what a wc33/bb34 team with Sanchez, KDB, Payet, Mahrez, Kun, Luk and Kane may look like , if enough funds. Poor back 7 vs strong front 8, good enough?
DMC, initial & critical reaction (for I assume you want intended constructive criticism rather than just a “that looks great) is would you not rather have Coutinho or Firmino and Kos or Bellerin than KDB and Coloccini or Ward?
I agree with Cookie DMC.I had Kdb in a draft which meant no Coutinho or Liverpool mid and a weaker defence. Is he really worth the extra 2m plus a Liverpool mid has a dgw in gw37 which potentially saves a transfer.
Cheers cookie that’s precisely what I was looking for of course. The idea here is to enhance that to have all those big guns it gets truly unbalanced. The actual names at the back dont mean much at the time. With that budget they will always be crap.
You make a valid point with that pair though. However, going without KDB for the double would require a big couch…. If I have to let go one of those big hitters maybe Kane himself should be the one to go granted he’s back In afterwards , no?
Hey DMC, to be honest I don’t like how unbalanced it is. Like you said it’s a great front 8 but crap back 7 and if it was me then I would prefer to downgrade KDB and upgrade Collicini or Ward.
Thx Matt – yeah truly unbalanced this. Someone from that front 8 needs to go! Or maybe not! just ride it upfront and hope for a cleanie or two from the crapers!
Morning everyone just a quick one. This is my WC team and I have 1.2 left over but I’m unsure whether I should spend it or save it? That’s basically all I’m asking and if I spend it where? McAuley to Dawson, is the only move I can think of.
Matt,
Welbeck to Mitrovic
Cathcart to Sakho
McAuley to Bellerin.
Cheers Cook.
I kind of wanted Welbeck in there because Arsenals fixtures from 34 to the end of the season are really handy where as Newcastles aren’t and Welbeck has been pretty good since coming back. Plus isn’t Mitrovic a bit of a hot head?
I was looking at Cathcart to Sakho. I’m just trying to spread the coverage and Watford haven’t got the worst fixtures. Obviously Bellerin kind of depends on whether I keep Welbeck or not.
Your call Matt, you could keep Mitrovic until 36 and then turn him into Defoe for their double.
Welbeck has been doing well but he’ll rotate with Giroud.
Cheers Cook but I think I might keep Welbeck. It’s just when I look at the fixtures I fancy Welbeck more as Newcastle have the likes of City, Liverpool and even Swansea makes me feel like they won’t score much. I get that Welbeck could be rotated but I think he’ll be favoured over Giroud.
Fair enough Matt, I don’t entirely disagree, was just trying to give you a better mix of funds.
No worries Cook. Sure I still have a week and no doubt I’ll be back on here with questions. Haha if I’m not mistaken Arsenal are playing in Champions league this week aren’t they? That could be an indication of how Wenger thinks as for Welbeck or Giroud.
Matt, let me do the Arsenal jokes mate
Haha just thought I’d give it a go
I see Borthwick-Jackson is fit again to challenge Rojo and Valencia back to compete with Darmian. Happy wildcarding :hippo:
Do you really think he’d displace Rojo, Cook?
I think there’s every chance they will share game time – LVG doesn’t exactly seem the biggest fan of Brazilians or Argentians does he!
Yeah true! I can’t afford Smalling though haha
Smalling it is then
Is he In the squad for today cookie?
Latest draft folks…
Could adjust and fit KDB in but would mean no Cout or Barkley and no guaranteed Untied starter. I’ve gone off the option of a Palace defender as I feel if they concede against Norwich, who are fighting for their life, then a Ward/Delaney would be a waste, especially with the blank in GW35.
Plan would be to save FT next week and sell 3 Mancy boys for GW35, would only be second hit of the season.
Thoughts would be appreciated, sure to still change!
Barkley to Lennon would give you spare cash. If they were the same price I’d go with Barkley but I don’t expect much between them in terms of points.
RMT!
KP, two words….Steven Taylor!
Leic : Schmeichel, Huth, Simpson, Morgan, Futchs, Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Albringhton, Okazaki, Vardy
Southampton : Forster, Bertrand, Targett, Fonte, Van Dijk, Cedric, Clasie, Wanyama, Davis, Manè, Pellè
Most times targett plays Soton are good in defence, I hope Leic wins but just need Vardy to blank Also targett is a very cheap option for wc’ers to fit in better players
3-0 Leicester; goals from Simpson, Mahrez & Vardy with Forster saving a penalty would be ideal for me.
Stretching things…Huth to miss said penalty and get sent off before 60 mins would be the icing on the cake.
