Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 33 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW33 is live! Its not just 6 teams that decided to take the gameweek off, our lunch time kick-off is also on a sabbatical this week. However we do have 4 three o’clock games. The Baggies visit Palace where Pulis will look to not take another beating. Palace averaging more than 2 goals per game over their last 6 and West Brom allowing 2 per game over that same time frame, sounds like a good day to own assets from the Pardew juggernaut. The Toffees see Burnley come in who despite their bad luck this season are still fighting for survival. Last place Leicester host the Swans, the Foxes are all of a sudden back in the fight to stay up with 2 straight wins. Southampton pay a visit to the Britannia where they will unleash Pelle on Stoke. Chelsea and Manchester United close the Saturday games. Interesting match up this, one team scoring for fun and the other only scoring just enough to get by. Hopefully CFC can up their one shot on target output from last week.
Sunday welcomes in the last two fixtures of this light gameweek. The Hammers visit the Etihad, where I am sure the stadium will be buzzing with excitement after City’s recent displays and an opponent that hasn’t won on their travels since December 2nd. Speaking of excitement, Newcastle welcome in over-the-hill Harry Kane and a Spurs side that has lost that spark about them, so much so, that basically they resemble Newcastle now.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.
Saturday in full…
Crystal Palace v West Brom 3pm
Everton v Burnley 3pm
Leicester v Swansea 3pm
Stoke v Southampton 3pm
Chelsea v Man Utd. 5:30pm
Sunday sees two fixtures…
Man City v West Ham 1:30pm
Newcastle v Spurs 4pm
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW33 from all at FF247!
Wildcard ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN Who else with me
Nobody. :p
Lol Raziel How many DGW u going with?
3 Pool and 3 Chelski.
Kop has, he’s been doing laps of honour for weeks about it Sadly not got one on mine but got one on another team I ‘manage’ so at least I’ll have some fun with that to balance the stress of taking multiple hits on my own!
How many are you going for Avengers? I’m thinking 10 plus Aguero.
init I am thinking following team
Mignolet
Schlupp Azpilicueta Ivanovich
Hazard Sterling Hendo Cambiasso Silva
Aguero Vardy
So 9 DGWers. Not sure to sell Silva for Hull Player.
Looks killer. I’d read that last sentence back to yourself a few times before I did that move though!
Don’t sell for a Hull player please!
Haha Not Doing that Silva has good Home Game but dunno then how you able to get 10 DGWers.
I don’t think the other team has him to begin with!
Sorry when I said ‘I’m thinking’ I meant it literally for my other, not yours
Two goals for Alexis Sanchez… Hopefully getting rid of him isn’t gonna come back and bite me/us in the butt!
Haha yep, normally I’d be distraught when the player I just sold scores twice, but lf course not today! we played yes poorly today and got lucky. Sanchez (and Özil + Caz to an extent) pulled us through.
I’ll probably get Sanchez back in time for the Swamsea game.
I don’t think I can afford Sanchez. Currently looking at Debuchy, Özil, and Giroud.
Ozil is great but if Sanchez is bac in the rise that could really sink you. I guess Özil’s a good differential option…
Debuchy didn’t look good today, which is understandable, but there’s too much competition from Bellerin there I think.
Hm, that sucks with Debuchy. I have enough funds to do a straight swap with Sanchez in for Giroud, but I’d have to downgrade Skrtel to PvA to be able to get Giroud in for Vardy. If I don’t get Debuchy I’d have to get rid of Silva or Hazard for Özil to have 3 Arsenal players, and I’m not sure if that’s worth it…
I’d rather keep Silva + Hazard and go in with 2 from Arsenal to be honest. Unless Siva’s output drops off.
That said, watch Wenger’s comments carefully, maybe his French bias means he really will always prefer Debuchy from now on…
Chelsea winning the title parking the bus. Maybe I should be happy with double Chelsea coverage in the back. >.<
Main disappointment has been getting Ward instead of Schlupp… and Alderweireld’s injury makes it worse, as I’d planned to play him ahead of Ward for his tough games, but that may not happen now. Only a 5 point loss so far though.
Guys, I’m curious about your opinion on Debuchy? Obviously we have a couple more GWs before Arsenal’s DGW to see if he becomes a starter or not, but their fixtures up until then are quite nice so I’ll want Arsenal players sooner rather than later. DO you guys think Debuchy will be the first-choice right back?
1FT 0.7m – After this rubbish GW it’s time to start thinking about the DGW
1)
-4pts
Eriksen – Sterling
Rose – Moreno
2)
-8pts – as above with:
Silva – Fabregas (not sure it’s worth selling Silva?????) or
Wollscheid – Schlupp
Both of these make it tricky to get Sanchez//Ramsey for GW37 without a hit or two!
The above two could be Henderson/Skertel
3)
-8pts
Eriksen – Hendo
Rose – Moreno
Clyne – Schlupp (frees up funds & I have Davis)
Means I keep Silva & coutinho – Sanchez & in GW37 Silva – Ramsey
So 1,2 or 3 or other suggestions
Thanks
Sterling has to be in the mix for me, so no.1 of those.
Init, what do you think about Sterling vs Hendo? 3 pts apart overall, and I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to afford Sanchez if I get Sterling. So it’s either Sterling and Özil or Hendo and Sanchez.
That’s assuming you keep Sterling ahead of getting Sanchez back. Guess it depends how quickly you want him back.
Should addas well though that it depends on Sturridge largely. If he’s out then Sterling will be up top and when they’ve played together this season Sterling hasn’t done nearly as well.
