Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 33 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW33 is live! Its not just 6 teams that decided to take the gameweek off, our lunch time kick-off is also on a sabbatical this week. However we do have 4 three o’clock games. The Baggies visit Palace where Pulis will look to not take another beating. Palace averaging more than 2 goals per game over their last 6 and West Brom allowing 2 per game over that same time frame, sounds like a good day to own assets from the Pardew juggernaut. The Toffees see Burnley come in who despite their bad luck this season are still fighting for survival. Last place Leicester host the Swans, the Foxes are all of a sudden back in the fight to stay up with 2 straight wins. Southampton pay a visit to the Britannia where they will unleash Pelle on Stoke. Chelsea and Manchester United close the Saturday games. Interesting match up this, one team scoring for fun and the other only scoring just enough to get by. Hopefully CFC can up their one shot on target output from last week.
Sunday welcomes in the last two fixtures of this light gameweek. The Hammers visit the Etihad, where I am sure the stadium will be buzzing with excitement after City’s recent displays and an opponent that hasn’t won on their travels since December 2nd. Speaking of excitement, Newcastle welcome in over-the-hill Harry Kane and a Spurs side that has lost that spark about them, so much so, that basically they resemble Newcastle now.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.
Saturday in full…
Crystal Palace v West Brom 3pm
Everton v Burnley 3pm
Leicester v Swansea 3pm
Stoke v Southampton 3pm
Chelsea v Man Utd. 5:30pm
Sunday sees two fixtures…
Man City v West Ham 1:30pm
Newcastle v Spurs 4pm
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW33 from all at FF247!
Hendo…most if not all set pieces, assists, odd goal..?
Sterling…goal threat but not clinical enough, assists… easily fouled with his trickery in the box leading to pens..?
Plus is Hendo on pens now Gerrards missing..?
He is. But he’s got awful technique! I wouldn’t be surprised if he misses his next one.
Says the Evertonian. :big-lol:
Don’t get me started! We’ve got a penalty specialist that isn’t allowed to take pens… :oogle:
why did Barkley take todays? Did Martinez say anything ?
No idea Dreamers, it’s just the oddest of odd situations.
Evening!!
Is a -12 hit a bit rash for next week?
Thinking of bringing in mignolet, Moreno, sterling & cesc. Would like to bring in sturridge but I’m not to confident he will play both or come on as a sub!
This would be my team;
Take as many hits as you want. :big-lol:
Think Chelski will dug themselves in again versus Arsenal. Is Fabs a counter player? Assist he maybe will get, with a whole of luck.
What do folks think of Sturridge? I could finesse him in (at Silva’s expense), but I don’t understand the perennial “knocks” that keep him at 75 percent-where (.75)(.75)=.50=1 game?
Considering a second Chelsea defender rather than Cesc in all honesty.
Me too Innit.
The only thing is if Jose decides to rotate players but I reckon Terry and Ivan look pretty safe.
They’re not going anywhere until the titles won I wouldn’t have thought.
I could bring in Terry?
Seems like a plan. I can see Chelsea grinding out clean sheets from here on in.
Mitro
Why not just bring in Skirtel & Sterling?
12 pts hit seems a bit excessive.
I’m chasing a few of my mini leagues down at the moment! The people above me will not be taking any hits … I think!!
Current team attached.
Thinking of doing Alderwield, Eriksen and Murray out and Skrtel, Sterling and Vardy in and then use my WC the week after.
What you reckon?
I reckon you’re good.
Murray out seems a sideways move to me but it could work out I guess.
+1.
Murray has Hull at home, and Vardy has Burnley away and Chelsea at home, so both players have a good chance of scoring similar points. Ill prefer Murray actually because of Chelsea’s defense Vardy will be up against.
Just trying to get as much out of the dgw as I can!
I’d rather get a third Chelsea person as coverage. YOu can’t get Fabs?
Would have to get rid of Silva and with them having Villa at home not sure it’s worth it.
How many players do you have left to play or to come from bench? Meaning active players (no blank GW) and what is your current score?
I”m on 27 with Eriksen/Kane/Silva/Kun(C) to go. If one doesn’t come on I still have awesome JwP coming from bench. 😉
Transfers I’ve done have been such a waste.
24 with 5 to go. Same 4 and capo Kun plus Krul. Includes Walters from the bench.
So I’m guessing none of use are moving forward or anything.
Was always going to be a fairly static week unless someone did something exceptional which they didn’t and most capped Kun of course.
I saw some Murray (C) on here. They did feel like geniuses for doing that move. B)
Unlucky that WBA got an early goal. After that WBA killed the match. Else Crystal probably would scored. Think WBA finished the game with 6 defenders, defensive midfielders and shite. Chelsea in small. 😉 Pullis sucks monkeyballs.
Murray should’ve really scored by the way.
Chasing last weeks points B! Plus he’s crap at home.
36 points (-4) with eriksen, Kane, Silva and Agüero (C) left.
28 with Krul, Silva, Erik, Kane, Aguero (C).
Satisfied with Jones > Schlupp, and glad I didnt do Remy > Vardy. Would have been wasteful
Good transfers indeed. Only 5th CS of the season for Leicester. Guess it was bound to happen, Swansea have no strikers.
Now confused between:
1. Hendo + Sterling
2. Hendo + Skrtel
3. Sterling + Skrtel
:cuckoo:
For me the third if any. I might go with all 3 though. :p
Get Hendo, Sterling and Skrtel? Job done
Dont want to take a hit.
I also have to deal with Remy, so thinking of taking a hit on Remy>Vardy for now, if that is necessary.
After watching Chelsea today I’m glad with 2 Chelsea defenders, don’t need Fabs. If they will park the bus versus United they will park 2 busses versus Arsenal. Was terrible to watch.
I hate myself for bringing in Remy in my squad. Siggy too.
Hating yourself is a bit strong! Maybe a quick kick in the knackers and move on…
26 (22 given minus 4) with Eriksen, Silva, Downing, Kane and Kun (c) left.
I’m on 44 (-4) with Saliva, Agueron (c) and CoKane to go!
31 points for me I guess, with Hazard’s 3BPs and Boyd as sub. Decent?
5 to go.
Oops. Correction. 28. :cuss:
OKay, time for MOTD. After that bed again. Geeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, f-ing fever. >.<
