Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 20GW34 is live! And what a way to start this double gameweek. A lunch time kick-off to get the blood boiling and the accusations of plagiarizing floating. Oh when the Saints/Spurs go marching in, oh when the… Nothing like a sing off to lay claim to a song by, errr an American? Well after that episode of X-factor we get six 3pm games. Including the relegation derby between Foxes and Clarets. But that is not the only fixture with relegation in the equation, Hull visit Palace in a game they must have. QPR running out of chances face the best possible match up as the Hammers have been laying down for all opposition. Sunderland visit the Britannia as they also battle for survival. In the “who cares” game of the week we have Newcastle hosting the Swans. Liverpool visit the Baggies in the first game in their double, as they look to lock up a Europa League spot. Hee hee, sorry that was uncalled for. In the last Saturday game, legend Tim Sherwood (teacher) takes on Pelligrini (student) in what promises to be a chance to count empty seats.

Sunday brings us two tasty fixtures. First the Toffees host the Fellaini led United side. One can only imagine the tears shed as Everton fans remember how lucky they were to have had the Mop, but that is all in the past now. He is sole property of the Manchester club now and their -kick it high, kick it long and let Afro bring it down- style. Sunday also treats us to the best ‘on paper’ fixture of the gameweek. The Emirates will be the sight when old Gunner favourite Mourinho brings in his eleven behind the ball side to probably grab a scoreless draw or eek out a 1-0 win. For the sake of our footy entertainment, we hope Arsenal miraculously scores first, that way the Chelsea ‘forward’ can stop holding hands with Courtois and is forced to actually take up an attacking position.

After one day off we welcome the second game for Hull and Liverpool. Hopefully this will see our DGW investments take the pitch and not be rested. Surely Hull will play their best XI with so much on the line, but will Liverpool?

In the last affair of the gameweek, we have Leicester looking to grab something, anything from the soon to be champs. Who knows how Jose will play this one out, will he finally give some of his players a rest? Hopefully you invested wisely and have picked the guys that Jose will utilize in this the tastier of their double gameweek.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Anyone thinking of bringing Adam in?

I spent an inordinate number of hours debating my bloody WC. On Friday night, I took Vardy out and replaced Skrtel with Moreno. Schlupp was in the team all week. I had Myhill on the bench. I know I’m not alone in this but it’s the lowest I’ve felt since captain Giroud got sent off on Boxing Day and ruined my Christmas.

At least I’ll have 3 Arsenal players for Hull next week.

So,thinking ahead,I’m debating whether to keep Kane or Vardy for the run in ?? If I keep Vardy it gives me more cash and flexibility to bring Arsenal players back in for Gw37 but spurs do have that upcoming tasty fixture of Hull at home…….hmmmm

I’d say ditch Vardy…..but then I would wouldn’t I; being all bitter and twisted this morning. Leicester though have great fixtures and are on form. On the other hand Kane’s ownership is a concern if you drop him. Couldn’t you afford Ramsey and replace someone in the 9m range for Ozil/Cazorla?

You’d have to fancy Leicester making it five wins on the bounce, vs Newcastle. Plus Leicester have good fixtures. Tough to drop Kane but if you need a differential + cash then it’s not a bad way of going about it.

Cheers GP. It’s quite funny really. We play this game like it’s the most important thing in the world. When I finished in the top 2K a couple of years ago, nobody I met gave a toss. My wife didn’t even know what I was on about. The buzz from the “success” (in my own eyes) was over soon after!
