Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW34 is live! And what a way to start this double gameweek. A lunch time kick-off to get the blood boiling and the accusations of plagiarizing floating. Oh when the Saints/Spurs go marching in, oh when the… Nothing like a sing off to lay claim to a song by, errr an American? Well after that episode of X-factor we get six 3pm games. Including the relegation derby between Foxes and Clarets. But that is not the only fixture with relegation in the equation, Hull visit Palace in a game they must have. QPR running out of chances face the best possible match up as the Hammers have been laying down for all opposition. Sunderland visit the Britannia as they also battle for survival. In the “who cares” game of the week we have Newcastle hosting the Swans. Liverpool visit the Baggies in the first game in their double, as they look to lock up a Europa League spot. Hee hee, sorry that was uncalled for. In the last Saturday game, legend Tim Sherwood (teacher) takes on Pelligrini (student) in what promises to be a chance to count empty seats.
Sunday brings us two tasty fixtures. First the Toffees host the Fellaini led United side. One can only imagine the tears shed as Everton fans remember how lucky they were to have had the Mop, but that is all in the past now. He is sole property of the Manchester club now and their -kick it high, kick it long and let Afro bring it down- style. Sunday also treats us to the best ‘on paper’ fixture of the gameweek. The Emirates will be the sight when old Gunner favourite Mourinho brings in his eleven behind the ball side to probably grab a scoreless draw or eek out a 1-0 win. For the sake of our footy entertainment, we hope Arsenal miraculously scores first, that way the Chelsea ‘forward’ can stop holding hands with Courtois and is forced to actually take up an attacking position.
After one day off we welcome the second game for Hull and Liverpool. Hopefully this will see our DGW investments take the pitch and not be rested. Surely Hull will play their best XI with so much on the line, but will Liverpool?
In the last affair of the gameweek, we have Leicester looking to grab something, anything from the soon to be champs. Who knows how Jose will play this one out, will he finally give some of his players a rest? Hopefully you invested wisely and have picked the guys that Jose will utilize in this the tastier of their double gameweek.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Don’t think I’ve ever been as angry in my life as I was at 2.30pm today! Reading the team news and seeing that Moreno and Schlupp weren’t even in the squads! I spent all week working on a good WC team, and typical for both teams to keep clean sheets made things even worse!
Smithy – look at the positives. If u haven’t had a reason to be angrier in life, then hats off to you mate.
I’d Moreno too. Worst thing would be him coming on with 10 mins left v Hull
+1, mainly on the first point
Yeah, I can’t say I was impressed when I found out. There I was looking at the final scores and not believing my luck that all three of my defenders had clean sheets and still had another match to play. Then I looked at my fantasy footy tram.
Well Bad Luck to owners of Moreno, Schlupp, Bruce. This GW got nowhere close to the high scores we were expecting. BAPS Added.
Qpr and Burnley down after today with one from Sunderland, Hull, Leicester and Villa to go?
Can’t disagree with that logic, Hull would be my favorites for the final spot but this looks like going to the final day.
I’d like to see Hull stay up. No idea why.
Evening all. This game week started off with a limp, eh? The unpredictability continues!
Nice captain call Nin
We’ll see what Eden has to say about that 😉
Knew it was gonna be shite when I saw Gerrard and Ballotelli were starting for Liverpool !! Nice captain choice by the way !!
Oh dear. Whatever about Gerrard, Balotelli is never a good sign!
Wondered how long it’d take for Mr Skrtel to swagger in! :hippo:
Looking good so far matey!
Mr Skrtel has been in work all poxy day! Haven’t seen any of the football yet. Really need him to score, though. Hopefully against Hull. Seems everyone is in the same-ish boat really, score wise. The odd jambag with Adrian or N’Doye
Another cleanie sees him on 30+. Job done and DGW captain call of the season right there I reckon! Top 1k beckons mate…
I’d take another 9, that’s for sure. Still, fingers crossed for a goal.
Newcastle are in it too i reckon. They’re so bad it’s unreal.
Nin – more points on the board though
Couple of results and that’ll change. They really need to get the finger out quick.
46 (-4) points for me.
Really bummed that Schlup didnt play? Was it a shock, or was it announced before the deadline?
Any way, glad I took a hit for Vardy, and hoping that Schlup plays next one or else I get a silly 1 point from Bertrand.
Forgot to mention the wonders that Siggy did this GW. B)
That seems pretty high compared to most i’ve seen so far. Nice one!
NIN,
A continuing thanks for your Leicester writeup for dgw34-+. My two, Cambiasso and Vardy, are +17 versus the two I traded out (Austin and Boyd-no hit). The rest of the week is gravy-mind, it might not be very thick against Chelsea, but with the relatively strong results for teams facing the drop, one never knows.
Nice one Ki. I’m glad the moves worked out for you.
Nice one B, well done. No, Schlupp was a complete surprise to all and sundry. Pearson didn’t mention him at all. Quite possible that it occured after the presser but still odd that it didn’t come out somehow.
Siggy was a lovely differential for you. Hoping Fellaini does something similar for me tomorrow. And I say that as an Everton fan!
Good Luck initt!! Everton vs United will be a cracking game! Really looking forward to both games tomorrow as I missed all football action today.
Good luck indeed. Fantasy vs Reality eh! I hope fantasy wins! :oogle:
Congrats on ranking B. And good luck with United tomorrow init. Or was it Everton that you were supporting? Nevermind. :p Good luck fantasy wise since you obviously don’t care about your club. :p
As for todays games. You missed nothing. Liverpool was hella boring. Crystal Palace game also was terrible. Bleergh. But maybe I’m bias. 😉
They don’t care about me Raz :p Come on Fellaini!
Burned my snack :cuss:
Euphemism?
morning guys.. so, siggy fudged me again(once in GW1) 13 points on the bench.. how frustrating is that..getting rid of berahinho ASAP. wish all of u a good fantasy day today..let hazard have a hatty today
