Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
DGW34 is live! And what a week we have in store – six days of football in a row, which has the potential to become the highest scoring game-week in FPL history, given the new chips that are on offer this season. Whether you are Bench Boosting, Triple Captaining one of your players are just playing as normal, then we wish you a brilliantly high-scoring week. Our game-week kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a massive clash centred on the relegation battle as Norwich host Sunderland at Carrow Road. Just four 3pm matches follow, before Man City travel to Chelsea for what would normally be a title shoot out. But not this season! Sunday sees three matches, highlighted by Leicester’s aim to march towards their first ever league title as they host West Ham. Spurs get an opportunity to respond Monday evening as they go to Stoke. And then it’s onto the double fixtures which are spread over Tuesday, Wednesday and finish on Thursday. Let’s get it on!!

60 points…. So far… Aguero Triple C, Martial (damn), Siggy (ouch) and De Gea (not bad)
16 players to go…. hope I can get the amazing 100 points for the first time
Awesome choice Interman, Awesome, well done mate!
Now then, my only complaint is that you didn’t force this view upon us all enough!
Hey interman
Just spotted this. That is a brilliant choice mate, well done. You’ll dine out on this one for a while!
“I remember when they first introduced the Triple Captain chip . . . I went Aguero and he got a hat trick I his first game, you know?”
46 (well 41 with 4PH) and 22 to go… Sanchez Captain…
Lets hit 150 plus!!!
*42
Well that wasnt what I expected.
So all of us who captained Sanchez over Aguero, do we reckon Sanchez will blank tomorrow?
How many points would you be happy with after Kuns hat trick? I’d take a goal and an assist with a couple of bonus points.
Shit just realised my ML leader who is 30 points infront has TC Sanchez whilst I just have him as C on bench boost. Do I want him to score or not?!
Should have gone Aguero!
haha the situation is a funny one isn’t it! Same for me with one of the guys in front of me.
Personally I hope he scores a ton of points, but the cumulative total of my bench being more points than if I were to TC him B) That’s the best way to compare TC and bench boost IMO – total points on bench VS score of TC player if they weren’t captained.
And on Aguero, everything’s easy in hindsight – an experimental Chelsea with nothing to play for and 5 goal newcastle and, you know, he’s Aguero. But hey, we never know about tomorrow – if Sanchez grabs a hatty we’ll all be laughing!!
If he does score 3 for example that’s a 20 point advantage he has with the Triple C, God knows.
Thankfully I have 10 more players playing so should build up points that way.
Yeah would give so many conflicting emotions if he did haha!! The chips have added a new level of both interesting-ness and chaos this season haven’t they haha!!
Also reading that back of course the best way to compare TC and bench boost is in the difference of projected points!! Smh what else would you do lol
Just gonna hope my differentials to him score well!
Hi Shadow
Concentrate on getting as many points as you can get for your own team and then once the dust settles, see where that leaves you in your mini-leagues.
Two hattricks for Sanchez for me please
I’ll stick to the goal an assist in each game, nothing too major!
That’s loser talk, Shadow :big-lol:
Alright! 41 points with bps from 5 fixtures out of 30!! Can’t be sad with that at all!! That would mean if I keep up this average points-per-fixture for the whole gameweek I’d be on course for 246 points hahahaha!!
So yeah happy with what I have and hopeful for the Sanchez cappo and differentials like Sturridge. Slightly disappointed I didn’t go with Aguero who I had on captain all week and even thought after I changed it, “I’ll captain Sanchez, but if I were to TC I’d go for Aguero” but I stand by my thoughts that capping Sanchez is the better move for chasing the ml. I did think he was gonna be a differential captain for my ml so I was disappointed when I saw no-one ahead of me capped Aguero, but I’m glad now hahaha!!
Still, not gonna get too worked up about anything as who knows what Sanchez or anyone else for that matter could do this week.
Overall, very happy this week – gameweeks like these are always fun!
Hi billis,
Definitely, they are brilliant fun. If you look hard enough you’ll always find ways you could have improved your score but you look set for a great week so here’s hoping for you. I’m 27 points from 4 just now with 23 players still to play (two of which are Sanchez my captain) so I’m happy. Therefore you should definitely be happy with your lot so far
With a -164 point hit due to the kids :hippo:
Yeah it’s a net “3”
Yeah they are – few better ways to spend a quick study break eh? lol
But yeah like I was just saying to shadow everything really does seem so simple in hindsight when it’s really so not haha!!
Here’s to a monster haul tomorrow – good luck GP! Liking the cresswell and Origi picks a lot btw
Go Sanchezzzzz!!!!
Just to clarify, the z’s are meant to signify saying the name longer not him sleeping or something hahahaha
billis
Hindsight is the greatest thing in the fantasy world, couldn’t agree more.
A goal for every “z” you put there would be nice
Yeah that would be fab hahahaha!!!
Hindsight’s rubbish too tho, like I can’t imagine how many time’s I’ve got caught up with thoughts like “I wish I did *insert bad player here* to *inert good player here*” when I should have just been glad I capped my highest scoring player u know?
billis
We always strive for perfection!
True! Very true actually!!
Self-criticising is how you improve isn’t it.
And with that I should probably get back to studying soon haha!!
just goes to show that applying logic to football normally bites you in the ass, I have Aguero in my team. I decide not to captain him because he first off misses a penalty and limps off the pitch the other day. I think Kevin is on fire at the moment, I must captain Kevin he is sure to deliver when Agueros form and starting is questionable. So I captain Kevin and Agueo goes gets a hatrick, typical…. applying any kind of logic to football seems to be stupid
luke
Pot luck the old captain game, mate.
It was one or the other really and time will tell whether there’s much difference. Not sure how ‘Kevin’ ever entered that equation though!
Savage!!! :cry-lol:
kevin is sick man, he can be a captain contender any week. If they get a clean sheet and he scores he will always outscore ageuro unless aguero gets a hatti
He’s never had a clean sheet and also scored though. The logic doesn’t stand either way though – CS and a goal equals 8 sans bonus, 2 for Kun equals 10…
Yeah logic just sucks doesn’t it. With fpl it barely works haha – just look at Lukaku!!
Going with your gut seems to be the best advice on offer.
That’s unlucky tho – if I had de brune he’d have been a top cappo contender as he’d have been a huge differencial, That being said there’s still Newcastle left so don’t loos hope yet haha!!
Depends what sort of logic you are applying ???? :cry-lol:
43 with 24 to go plus captain Sanchez.
Had worse weeks.
