Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 34 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatDGW34 is live! And what a week we have in store – six days of football in a row, which has the potential to become the highest scoring game-week in FPL history, given the new chips that are on offer this season. Whether you are Bench Boosting, Triple Captaining one of your players are just playing as normal, then we wish you a brilliantly high-scoring week. Our game-week kicks off on Saturday lunchtime with a massive clash centred on the relegation battle as Norwich host Sunderland at Carrow Road. Just four 3pm matches follow, before Man City travel to Chelsea for what would normally be a title shoot out. But not this season! Sunday sees three matches, highlighted by Leicester’s aim to march towards their first ever league title as they host West Ham. Spurs get an opportunity to respond Monday evening as they go to Stoke. And then it’s onto the double fixtures which are spread over Tuesday, Wednesday and finish on Thursday. Let’s get it on!!

God damn Cech, cost me 2 clean sheets. On 73 points so not too bad. Hopefully Sanchez can do some more damage and Stoke hold Spurs.

Is Begovic worth a punt now?

    71 points… 15 to play…
Special thanks to Lennon, Clyne, Coutinho, Martial and Sakho for not starting…
Thanks to Monreal and Gabriel for conceding a stupid, late goal…

Still think 150 is possible smile

Well my first season in FPL is pretty much over! I was really upset about it a week ago but now I’m in reflection mode debating how next season will be better. I held all my chips as the wise predicted but ultimately my DGW players are the wrong ones.. Wanted studge.. Could only afford origi.. Wanted Firmino.. Went with coutinho… Blah blah. As a newcastle supporter I fear 2015/16 will be one to forget but we learn from our mistakes and that which does not kill you makes you better in your mini league next year…. I probably won’t have a mini league next year … But hey ho

Happy Birthday! In all fairness it’s not normally this bad. I’ve been playing for many years now and I’ve never encountered anything around a DGW which we have experienced this time around in relation to rotation. I think the new rules with the chips and when you have to WC to utilise them have a lot to answer for but we need to learn from that as this is the first time they have been in place. Last year, last weeks debacle wouldn’t have occurred as we would have simply wildcarded this week and that compounded the misery. Clearly! Also we wouldn’t have had any need to rip the squads up quite so dramatically as we were only wildcarding to achieve 11 not 14/15. As you say, time for reflection and learning. What’s happened to your ML?! I’m sure there will be many invites floating around on here over the summer so you’ll find one for sure. Worst case there’s our Regulars league so at least you can compete with familiar people if nothing else. There’s the site one too but there’s too many in that to find the people you actually know!

Thanks innit! That would be top draw! I’m into FPL 24/7 which is bizarre as this time last year it has somehow alluded me! Basically a girl at work asked me to manage a team for her ‘clients’ leagues as she knew I did other fantasy footy. I have no idea how I had never heard of FPL but that was my introduction (initially somewhat reluctantly as I didn’t want to neglect my now defunct skysports team) learnt so much and I think with the chips I’ve came in at a strange time but as I’m due to change jobs I fear I won’t have s mini league to take part in!!

If you’re not in the Regulars one already I’d join that now as it’ll automatically rejoin you next season. The code is under the Hot Comments just above the normal latest comments on the right hand side of the website as you look at it on a desktop view. No idea where it is on the mobile view, I don’t use that!
