Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatAnd so finally back to a ‘normal’ game-week. All teams play, they all play just once and there’s no silliness. Well, that’s the theory anyway. There probably will be some once the team sheets are revealed but let’s see. There will of course be silliness again next week as we have another DGW and there will definitely be silliness the week after as there always is on the final day of the season with some strange results, and there’s always the odd 7-0 thrown into the mix for good measure. Yes Villa, we are looking at you! For now though let’s hope GW36 treats us well… The fixtures in full…

    Massive DGW coming up for us all! Hopefully a few of us can win our MLs – a couple of the guys below me have managed to close to the gap to 14 and 27!

    What would you do with this lot? (I have already brought in cresswell for bellerin)

    Thinking Kane to either Carroll Defoe or Sturridge

    • I doubt they’ve planned as well as that though mate? Nice work. Kane or Kun to Carroll I reckon. Do Defoe too if you really want to push the boat out.

      • Cheers init – here are there teams;

        • defo going to do Kane to Carroll, could do rashford to Defoe? Or would that be a waste of a transfer?

          Would you TC Carroll? Or stick with payet? 2nd place has BB & 3rd place has TC left and will go with payet

        • They’ve got a fair bit of work to do then! 2nd guy lucked out with Noble there. I’d just do Kane looking at that then. Cover off Kun unless you think they’re likely to bin him as a last ditch attempt to overhaul you.

        • Cover Payet then, although I do like the idea of putting it on the donkey also.

        • I will be keeping an eye on there teams over the coming day! Fingers crossed I can work out on who they bring in!

          Thoughts on Coutinho and firmino – will they both play in the DGW?

        • Not teaching you to suck eggs but just make a note now of their money left as it stands now, it’ll help you ascertain their moves. It’ll be fairly obvious if Kun comes out.

    For those who have there TC left, who will be going with?

    • Carroll or Payet, leaning towards Carroll.

    • Payet – sensible.
      Carroll – for a riskier but potentially more explosive pick.
      Costa – for a steady Eddie who will at least play.
      Defoe – on pens and everything to play for. He just can’t score at home!
      Sanchez in 38 – I’m going off this idea fast, especially seeing how they struggled to break down Norwich. Norwich however set out to do that though hoping for a draw. Not sure Villa will, what’s the point!

      • Borini is first choice pen taker

      • Yeah I fancied Sanchez in gw38 for Tc till I saw that game last night.Talk about lacklustre.Saying that I can’t see Villa making as much of a fight of it as Norwich did.Just no standout candidate in gw37.Real wish I’d used it in gw34 now.Got a feeling this chip is going to decide one of my main ml’s.

        • It will decide mine. No such regrets on 34 as it’d have been a similar outcome, points wise, plus I had the bench then, I don’t now.

        • We just need to nail our cappo choice and glory will be ours smile

  3. Is Kane & Kun out for Costa & Carroll a little too bold of a move?

    • I don’t think so. Depends on your ML situation though I guess.

      • Rival has Kun but no Kane. Wednesday night will tell me more!

    • I’ve got Kun and keeping him now as he’ll have to start last 2 league games. Whether he does anything is a different matter but at least he’ll be playing!

      Same with KDB I think.

      • Yeah I’m set on Kane out for Carroll. Costa will boom, in one way or another I feel.

        • Going to be watching him closely tomorrow night. Him over Sturridge is a massive decision to be made. Also depends on the Liverpool line-up on Thursday. After today I’m not so sure he will play Sturridge in that one which makes him more viable for 37.

        • Init, i reckon Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge all start Thursday, we need goals. If we get through your guess is as good as mine for 37.

        • I reckon 37 is still as up in the air regardless of whether you get through or not. 38 is the one that gets affected most of you do?

  5. How much of a hit is too much? Right now I’m considering a -12 maybe a -16 but some of those moves I may not make.

    • Matt, i’m planning the same..who are the hit payers though and are you on BB?

      • Hey Constant, this is my current team and I’m thinking of doing Gab to Bellerin(might not if Mert is injured), Kun to Carroll, Kane to Defoe, Welbeck to Cisse(Massive punt against Villa),Mahrez to Fab and possibly Couthino out aswell. I’m OK my BB though. What are your plans mate?

        • Matt, I’d hold teh Gabriel to belle move for this week and instead I’d try n get a DGWer like Cresswell.Kun, Kane and Mahrez changes look good. But, I’m not sure myself on removing Coutinho from the team yet. Klopp would want to win the match against Chelsea. I’m myself taking a hit to change Mognolet to Either Adrian/De gea.cheers

        • I’d love to bring in Cresswell but I already have 3 Hammers players if I bring in Carroll. Yeah I think I’ll leave Couthino in for a bit and see what happens. What do you think I should do with Welbeck and Cisse?? I want Welbeck for the Villa game but I’m unsure if Wenger will cop on and play him.

        • Matt..I think we should pursue for the players that are nailed for sure at this very end of the season.Given we are taking hits, that becomes a priority. So, Welbeck to Cisse against Villa sounds good but you cant be sure of the NC players. I’d do Welly to Costa for the double and then may get Aguero back in the GW38, given you have funds.For gabriel, you may consider Azpi/Ivan for some attacking points too or for cheaper options, Olsson could do for you..Norwich would want to get stiff at the back.

        • That makes a a lot of sense actually I didn’t think of Costa or Chelsea defence. I’ll look at that now cheers mate.

    • Wouldn’t really do a thing mate. Team looks great maybe Lennon out don’t know if it’s worth it .

    • Very good looking team EBC..Would swap my team readily with this one. Have you just played your WC?I’d save the FT for Aguero and may another Arsenal players for the GW38

    • Yeah just played my wildcard.

      Was thinking Sanchez/Bellerin out for the DGW then back in again for GW38.

      Struggling for replacements though.
