Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW36 is live! Just lovely, a lunch time kick-off once again. This time we will see the Black Cats who are of course fighting for survival as their norm. Lucky for them they face a Toffee side that will probably be feeling the sting after getting the life sucked out of them, after allowing Tom Cleverley a goal. Not many teams can lay claim to that particular feat. At 3pm we have 5 games kicking-off simultaneously. This lot of games are more about who will stave off relegation and who will win that unwanted Europa League spot. Sherwood will look to nail the Hammers down with the Belgian beast. Hull City needing a win will be looking to Bruce up the slow dying Clarets. Leicester will be trying to devil-ishy outfox the Saints in a game they badly need 3 points from. Newcastle who have lost 8 on the bounce will be facing a team in West Brom who are willing to relinquish the ball. So basically a team who wants to defend vs a team who can’t string two passes together. Could be a frustrating afternoon for both sides. In the last of the 3pm games, Kane and his mates will be looking to stoke a fire when they visit the Britannia after a couple of games of struggling for wins. In the late game we see a meeting of two great looking managers as Pardew squares off with LVG. It should be interesting to see how the Silver Fox deals with the high possession non scoring game plan LVG seems to be employing.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Former champs Manchester City look to put pressure on Chelsea by closing to within 10 points (No one tell them it’s over) and QPR will probably find it worthwhile to help them along. In Sunday’s late game, Liverpool will be hoping that Chelsea play a weaker side as they look to close the gap on the sloth like moving United.

The game-week finishes off with Arsenal hosting the Swans. This should be an emotional affair as Arsenal are inching closer to finishing higher than 4th place. We congratulate them in advance on their future accomplishment. Now go buy another attacking midfielder so you can win the title next season.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

ouch! Hope things pick up for you tomorrow mate. I’m sat on 23 from 5, with 2 BPs for Schmeichel and 1 for PvA to come, I hope. Pleased with that of course but a bit disappointed that I didn’t get Giroud in for Kane instead of Benteke (unless he blanks tomorrow of course)

      • Raziel says:

Giroud will 100 percent blank tomorrow. Haven’t you heard the news?

        • Pippin says:

          ….? No, what news?

        • Raziel says:

They’re playing on Monday, silly. So he can’t blank tomorrow. You’re fine. Harharhar. :p

        • Raziel says:

Also Pippin. Got the 7 points from just 2 players, K Davis didn’t start (don’t have a second goalie so this sucks). I have my best players left though:
          Terry-Kos-Haz-Sanchez-Coutinho-Silva-Kun(C)-Giroud.

        • Pippin says:

Nice one. You should be fine for this week then. And you have your three Arsenal already which is good, whereas I will need a hit to get my third in next week. With Benteke blanking that’s looking like the wrong option, but hey, he’s in monster form so it should pay off overall… Can’t complain about my ranking, it’s way better than I’ve ever done before…

        • Raziel says:

Your ranking is awesome mate. Can’t wait for this season to end, even though this is my best ranking. Want fresh meat and the season to start over again. :p

        • Raziel says:

After today I fear I’ll be ranked outside the top 8k though. >.<

The 8 point hit already took me to place 5800 or smt. Wait, wtf am I talking about. The points I got then count from 5800. Top 1k got 14 points average, all average is 7. Means I'm fine, I guess. Top 8k possible. smile

        • Pippin says:

Raz, where do you get the stats about the top 10k so early? Is that FPL Discovery or something?

        • Raziel says:

Sorry mate. Phon lagging. It’s the top 1k and you can find it on fantasy football fix.

        • Pippin says:

          no worries, thanks!

        • inittowinit says:

While you’re over there can you tell them to stop e-mailing me the line-ups 3 hours after the games have started! smile

        • Raziel says:

You can turn those mails off init. Go to the site.

        • inittowinit says:

          I know mate I just couldn’t be bothered. I just think it’s funny. What’s the point…

        • Raziel says:

Maybe they think you’re a bit slow? 😛

Naaaah, I don’t know. Not watching the game but I see they took off Rooney after just 45 minutes. Also, it’s 1-1 now.

      Raziel says:

Can’t say I’m even that unhappy with the result. Spurs have been pathetic though, literally. Pathetic. Always said their coach was a slagger. HE SUCKS! Same as Everton coach. Anyway.

-1 and I’m happy. What’s wrong with me? Even took on Roosters advice and picked Wasi over PvA. Though, part of me wanted to play all the players I bought for -8. If someone doesn’t play now at least PvA will come from the bench. Should’ve played him ahead of Kane. :p

Oooh, 1 thing I am annoyed about though is that Davis didn’t play. F-ing Koeman. Soton looking lethargic, same as Spurs. Nothing to play for.

RvP has a virus and Di Maria picked up an injury on Wednesday.

    • 27.2
      duthers says:

Is Di Maria injured or does Van Gaal not like him that much to even bench him? When i first saw Di maria was moving to united i thought they would challenge for the title because he was that good at Madrid, weird how things have worked out

      • Raziel says:

Did I not say he picked up an injury? :p

Like RvP Di Maria is coming off a WC. He’s never found his level again, also some shit happend. That is what LvG explained. He said he wanted to keep him. Falcao will go though. Never understood why they got him in the first place. And I like Falcao, the old Falcao that is. 😉

What is everyone plans for the DGW? Really don’t know what to do. Original plan was to bring in ozil and wickham but now I’m thinking maybe giroud and pantilmon instead
