Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 37 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW37 is live! Here we go with the penultimate set of fixtures. Lucky us we have a lunch time kick-off, but if that wasn’t enough, we get Sherwood in the first game. Remember managers, knowledge is the key to life, it is never too late to learn how to be brilliant like Sherwood. So tune in or stay dumb, your choice. We have 5 fixtures hitting us hard at 3pm. With Burnley relegated and nothing to play for, hopefully they will unleash their free flowing “attack” when they go for two goals in one game for the first time in 3 months as they take on Charlie Adam and ten complimentary pieces. In other action we see a highly exciting match-up in QPR versus Newcastle (excuse us for that yawn). Hull visit a Spurs side working hard to drop out of a Europa spot. In other action the Foxes face off against Sunderland in what promises to be a pins and needles affair and not because Defoe needs acupuncture if you know what we mean. West Ham welcome in Everton, considering the Toffees have allowed goals to Cleverly and the Dinosaur Defoe in consecutive weeks, expect Carlton Cole to score for the first time since October. In the last game we get to reminisce a little, but this time Palace visit Anfield. If we are lucky, Liverpool will go up 3 and then…
On Sunday we see two fixtures. The Swans see City and their not-good-enough-for-the best-EPL XI Kun Aguero come rampaging in. And in the late game superstar Marouane Fellaini hopes to continue to build a case for the 9-1 formation. Just cross it or kick it long and Mop head will solve the problem. Of course he will probably be countered by Arsene with the German pencil Per. Should be interesting to see two guys go at it all day counting on their one and only talent, being tall.
On Monday we see Chelsea “Boring, Boring” go at it against West Brom “More Boring” in a fixture for ‘who has the bigger bus’ bragging rights.
We then finish off the double with a game at the Emirates. The Black Kitties pay a visit in what hopefully becomes bundles of points for us managers, when they allow 8 in.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Anyone think Terry will be rested?
Unlikely as Zouma is injured
Gutted. Rose on the bench.
well, never say never!
Think Mourinho said Terry and Ivanovic will play all matches. Same for Hazard. If either doesn’t play I get Wasi though, which isn’t bad.
hey Raz, how you going mate? Is your cat better?
Mwah, that was ages ago. And yeah he’s doing fine. Cost me a rib though. 😉
Ah good news Razman. About your cat I mean, not your rib. Looking forward to a summer of no FPL?
All by myself, I wanna be all by myself…….
Any suggestions on what to do for the final week?
I’ve won both my mini leagues, just trying to finish as high as possible now.
2 FTs to use, 0.6 in the bank, thinking kane to benteke somehow perhaps….
Milburn, good evening. Good to see someone!!
The problem with Benteke is the danger of Villa resting him for the Cup Final, now that they are safe.
Kop has got a very special article out later this week, just for what you are looking for so I don’t want to give too much away. Have you considered Cisse as a one week punt? We were discussing him on here earlier and if Carver says he is fit and ready to start then he could be worth thinking about. Obviosuly we won’t know more before the presser.
Skrtel to a Leicester defender, and Kane to Bentekke.
That might help you in funding Bentekke, will also help you in getting in 2 favorable players while getting rid of Skrtel, who has been a major dud in the past few weeks.
Any one looking forward to the boring WB vs Chelsea game?
Not me, have only Terry in it. Envying the Hazard owners right now.
Terry, Ivan and Hazard for me B – be nice for them all to perform, from a selfish point of view!
Hey B, I’ve got Terry & Haz, my ML chaser has Terry & Ivan. If Chelsea concede, Haz scores and Ivan doesn’t, that should lock it up for me! An Ivan goal or more, will have me sweating through Championship Sunday…
got a feeling West Brom score tonight
Want to see Hazard on that team sheet and Fab and Azpi dropped!
That’s got my ok young Init
Oh well, 2 out of 3 will do nicely!
Evening all, especially you Cookster, were you feeling a bit lonely earlier ? Noticed there was nobody about. Should perk up a bit for you as we near gametime.
Yeah, felt very lonely Elle. No one wanted to talk to me, don’t know why – must have upset everyone over the season
That was just Saturday morning on twitter!
Had a load of fun – can I do it again soon?
C’mon, spill the beans, what you been up to and who have you upset.
Oops, should be a ? At the end.
Some people took umbridge at my truthful words on Saturday morning. Ritz went crackers.
No you bloody well can’t! You’re barred until August 😉 With hindsight sending in a Manc on Gerrard Day probably wasn’t the wisest move we ever made! :hippo:
Ah, don’t worry about it Cookster, they say the truth hurts, they’ll be back for banter.
Gerrard Day. wtf. Anyone would of think the bloke had died, not left cos he wasn’t given a new contract. Ooops, here I go again.
Must not upset scousers
Must not upset scousers
Must not upset scousers
Must upset scousers
Must not upset scousers……
Sorry sir !!
He was offered a deal in January but he turned it down as he was told he would be getting a few splinters in his arse sitting on the bench, which he didn’t want. He also said he would have accepted a new contract if it was offered last summer. But i have to say, watching him of late it is time to go, hes not the Gerrard of the 2005 CL final by any stretch, oh and LA offering $8,000,000 for 18 months of shite soccer, its a no brainer mate.
Completely agree…..it’s a season too far for him in the Premier League. His legs have gone and you as a club have to move on and stop relying on him now Goofy is not there either.
Cookie we could be in the shit as Balotelli is on his way aswell. :big-lol:
Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry (c), Filipe Luis; Loftus-Cheek, Matic; Remy, Fabregas, Hazard; Diego Costa.
Myhill, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Lescott, Brunt, Fletcher, Yacob, Morrison, McManaman, Berahino.
TJ you da man!!!
Thanks TJ!
