Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 37 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 20GW37 is live! Here we go with the penultimate set of fixtures. Lucky us we have a lunch time kick-off, but if that wasn’t enough, we get Sherwood in the first game. Remember managers, knowledge is the key to life, it is never too late to learn how to be brilliant like Sherwood. So tune in or stay dumb, your choice. We have 5 fixtures hitting us hard at 3pm. With Burnley relegated and nothing to play for, hopefully they will unleash their free flowing “attack” when they go for two goals in one game for the first time in 3 months as they take on Charlie Adam and ten complimentary pieces. In other action we see a highly exciting match-up in QPR versus Newcastle (excuse us for that yawn). Hull visit a Spurs side working hard to drop out of a Europa spot. In other action the Foxes face off against Sunderland in what promises to be a pins and needles affair and not because Defoe needs acupuncture if you know what we mean. West Ham welcome in Everton, considering the Toffees have allowed goals to Cleverly and the Dinosaur Defoe in consecutive weeks, expect Carlton Cole to score for the first time since October. In the last game we get to reminisce a little, but this time Palace visit Anfield. If we are lucky, Liverpool will go up 3 and then…

On Sunday we see two fixtures. The Swans see City and their not-good-enough-for-the best-EPL XI Kun Aguero come rampaging in. And in the late game superstar Marouane Fellaini hopes to continue to build a case for the 9-1 formation. Just cross it or kick it long and Mop head will solve the problem. Of course he will probably be countered by Arsene with the German pencil Per. Should be interesting to see two guys go at it all day counting on their one and only talent, being tall.

On Monday we see Chelsea “Boring, Boring” go at it against West Brom “More Boring” in a fixture for ‘who has the bigger bus’ bragging rights.

We then finish off the double with a game at the Emirates. The Black Kitties pay a visit in what hopefully becomes bundles of points for us managers, when they allow 8 in.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

  1. Ha ha ha to all who sold Hazard and Fabregas, I said 10 times that the 3 of them will play all games (Ivan/Terry/Hazard) Hope for Hazard 3 goals and Ivan 3 assists laugh

    • I don’t!!! Haha smile

      • Evening lads. Trying to pick my team for the final weekend of the season! sad
I have 1 FT but I’m thinking of selling Ki and Cazorla to bring Hazard back in and then either Cleverly( vs Burnley) or Young( vs Hull) what do you think if that?

        • Hi Matt, Young is a decent enough shout. I’d steer clear of Cleverley in all honesty simply because we have no idea what sort of side Villa will field ahead of the Cup Final.

        • Didn’t even think about that Cheers Init. smile

        • I’m also thinking of putting Kane on the bench and playing Cambiasso!! Crazy?

        • Not overly crazy. Not ‘buying Gerrard’ crazy anyway 😉 We’ve been ok at home and even in that Sunderland defeat we were miles better than them. Pearson was quite bullish about winning the final game too.

        • Haha I’m never going to live this down am I? smile Ye Leicester seem to be hitting top form and Kane has been dire the last few weeks.

        • Could be worse Matt, my nearest rival took a -12 that involved Hazard out and Gerrard in. Like yourself he’s a massive Liverpool fan and I know it was at least 80% sentimental. To be fair, was I a Red, I’d have probably done the same. (Not the -12 bit!)

        • Oh god I definitely wouldn’t have done that! I did a -4 hit but that was enough. How badly did it back fire on him?

        • Well let’s just say he bought Sanchez, Gerrard and Larsson and he’s no longer my nearest challenger, the guy in 3rd overtook him!

        • Well my move turned out good I stretched my 80 point lead to 10 and moved up into a cash place in my other money league

        • Excellent news Matt!

        • I’ve gone and made the change to Gerrard so I might aswell just keep him now mate plus I feel Gerrard and Cazorla will be getting the same points this weekend I wasn’t too impressed with Cazorla against United.

        • Not when it comes to Stevie haha. Don’t worry Cook after this weekend well never be picking him again.

        • Matt I’ll be picking him in about a month when he lands in LA for my MLS team! He’ll rip it up over there.

        • Oh god ye he’ll be unreal over there sadly I didn’t know there was an MLS fantasy till to late so ill have to wait till next season to join.

        • Init, if you buy Gerrard in a month he’ll be on your bench for another month, hes not allowed to play till we get into July. Not sure of the date, you’d best check it out.

        • That’s a great idea Elle thanks for the advice. I was just going to go and randomly buy him on the off chance but now I’ll actually check :noshake: :bangsheadondesk:

        • Init, don’t be banging that head to hard, you’ll be damaging your one and only brain cell. 😮

    • Hmmm. Zero between the pair. Thanks for the ‘advice’ there Respect.

  2. Fab just got sent off!!

  3. And we just had a ha ha to all who sold Fabregas! Crazy few mins though but gonna b very rough game till the end

  4. Damn, what a let down! Was hoping Hazard and/or Terry would get rested as I’ve got Wasilewski (6) and Trippier (8) waiting to come off the bench. Oh well, I would have picked the same team 10 times out of 10- hopefully they can scrape something together in the 2nd half!

  5. Fabregas is so consistent with is assist! Does assist-to-red count for anything?

  6. My ML rival gas Ivanovic and Terry! So far so good!
