Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
And there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.
On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.
For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

One thing I’ve learned is have the courage of your convictions…….if you have a gut feel on something go for it !! Was gonna bring Mane in…didnt….was gonna capo Giroud…..changed my mind to Aguero…….ho hum…….shoulda,woulda,coulda……….still wouldn’t have won my ml mind…….
That’s unlucky Brooky but atleast you know that even if you made those moves you would still have lost. It would be so much worse if those moves would have won it for you. But hindsight is 20/20!!
Deeney dropping from 2 to 1 BPS has just lost me €200. If you think you’ve had a bad finish, you haven’t. This season wrapped up in one right there!!
Ah gutted for you mate. That’s really unlucky. I hope you still get something for 2nd place??
No we’re all in!! Won two monthly though so well up on money. Was 120 off before DGW34, but to lose by 1 is rough. Only hope is if Smalling and Martial don’t play ‘this’ game. I’d have Azpi coming in for Smalling but he’d be left with Moreno (0) to replace them (I’d take it by 1). Slim chance of that happening though…
Ah you just never know mate. As today shows anything can happen in this crazy bloody game hahaha
Hanging onto my ML by the skin of my teeth!!
OK…I’m 6 points behind.
Need Smalling to play and De Gea to get a clean sheet.
Reckon I’m 5 ahead. I’ve Smalling. He has degea n Rashford.
Who wins?
It’s going to be tight mate! I have rashford and rojo and my opponent has smalling and DDG – I have a 4 point lead!!
Depends what team he puts out now. If he doesn’t get his way with an early game then he’s very likely to throw the 21’s at the situation with a big V sign.
Ah there we go, confirmed Tuesday. Still be interesting if he changes it up big time. He may. I probably would.
Play all his main players and risk injuries etc and potentially lose the FA cup or rest his key players and win the cup?
LVG ain’t going to risk his best chance of silverware
Agree with you Mitro. But he will do it to win the Cup, not so you can win your mini-league
You got his number by any chance? I need to have a word about something 😉
On a serious note; in my humble opinion I can’t see him risking his key players!
Agreed. But you only mentioned the ones that would directly affect you
What about rojo and rashford? Any ideas on what injury rojo has? Haven’t saw anything
P.S I’m clinging onto the belief that I will win my ML! 😉
Anyone checked out the current #1 and #2 in the fpl world. Both currently tied on points after today pending auto subs coming in and points from the replayed united game. The guy who’s been top for a while,Dimitris Gavles should wrap it up as he has Rashford and Smalling to come and the guy in second,Dankery’s,has no one. but if they don’t start now in the midweek game it will be interesting. The guy in 2nd place has Antonio taking up the 3rd spot on his bench who will remain an unused sub behind Cresswell and Daniels…….
I should add Antonio would have come on for Defoe, with 7 points if he had been 1st or 2nd on the bench and he will have Daniels to come in the United game.Talk about a tight finish !!
