Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatAnd there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.

On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.

For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

    • Well I think I’m a bit humped then. Would imagine De Gea will play but Smalling not playing means I get zero and King comes in for my opponent.

      • EBC – in my world I need smalling DDG and martial not to play!

        • I want both of them to play

      • its ok as long as Mata and Rojo plays, i have Cresswell and Carrol as subs 😛

  2. Hopefully everyone is rested haha, I have Martial and rashford and my opponent DDG but I’m 16 points clear so not worried

  3. What was up with the talk about the team sheets remaining the same as originally submitted? Is that true or will they be allowed to change them?

    • Change Red. It was abandoned so we start afresh.

      • Right on, thanks Init. Darmian will sub in with 3 points anyway if he rests DDG. Either way I’ve got a few more points trickling in.

        • Haha, Darlow! Darlow will sub in, lol. Holy hell I think I’m frazzled after a long FPL season. I called LvG Hiddink the other day when talking to Cookie! laugh

  4. I was on Mane all week.. Went the ‘safe’ route and brought Tadic in ay 13.56.. Mane scores 11 more points than Tadic and at present I’m 10 points shy of winning my ML.. Could have been 1 ahead … These decisions have blighted my season!! A Rashford brace and I could still win it though… If he plays!

    • Rosco – it happens mate we can’t get it right all the time, I went with tadic over mane and I went to bring in giroud but I chickened out and went with cech instead!

      P.S I need rashford to get some points on Tuesday

      • Let’s all pray for Rashford!!! I know the chances of a brace from him are slight or that he even starts but it’s nice to still have some hope!
        That Giroud call would have been a stroke of genius! Bet some luck bugger made it too!
        Oh and well done to the Arsenal! My lot did a number on spurs today… If only we had played like that all season… Got Burton Albion to look forward to next season!

        • If it’s any consolation you now have millions of gooners who have Newcastle as there “2nd team” you really did a number on them! Fingers crossed you can keep Rafa and get back to where you belong

          Mind you i have been championing Giroud all week. I even told Mitro to get him this morning. He went for a run instead.

    Looks like I am 33-25 up after subs in and we both have Rashford but you have De Gea. If he saves a peno I am stuffed but I don’t see him with 6 saves and a cleanie to draw. I said it would be tight but I got a bit of luck with Fab taking the peno instead of Haz. What was that all about?
