Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatAnd there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.

On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.

For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

  1. I picked my Euro 2016 Fantasy squad this morning!

No rest for the wicked eh?

Which leagues should I be in? Open to all offers.

  2. Afternoon gents, I had another good season finished up in the top 150000 but just fell short in my mini league again .how do most of you go about choosing a captain every week that is definitely a weekness of mine that needs sorting then maybe I might be able to win for once.

    • For me I always choose a captain who is consistent.. For example, Aguero/Kane/Vardy this season.. But sometimes if u r say chasing in ur mini league, then its fine to take a punt..

Also the main thing I look at is form and fixtures..

      • Ok cheers mate is there case for picking one player ie let’s say aguero if I was to have captin him all season it would have been an extra 184 points and I would have won my mini league.

    • This past gameweek i put the armband on Giroud. Had the fixture but no form since about 2012. :big-lol:
Suppose that counts as a punt.

  3. Anyone been looking at the Euros yet who are Germany back 4 I assume Hummels & Boating are two nailed on I think I know the other two but would like others opinions

    • Silvers is Lahm still playing ?

    • I’ve gone safe and stuck Neuer as German defensive cover. But I’d say it will be Hummels and Boateng I think Lahm has retired from international.

    • Silvers

I think Rudiger and Hector will be the full backs and definitely Hummels with probably Boateng. Neuer in GK obviously.

    • Just a question to add to this where does Alaba play for Austria? LB, DCM or just midfield?

      • Mattx Midfield I thk he could be one to put in but he his 7m scores quite a few goals

        • Yeah I have him in my team right now I just wasn’t sure if he played defensively for Austria or not. Would you keep Siggy in for 8 Mil he plays fairly hard teams?

        • Hey Matt not looked at Siggy & 8m is a lot there are probably better but depends who else you have 😉

        • The only other 8.0 Mil mods are Arda Turan, Iniesta and Payet but I already have Pogba so Payet is out.

        • Matt there are some good 7.5 to 6.5m players avil I’ve been tinkering but trying to get balance right There are some easier groups than other so look within these as well

        • Yeah need to start looking at the groups and see what might be the easiest group

    • sorry all had to do some work Lahm will be on his zimmer frame by now I was thinking Hector will be one and possibly Mustafi or Ginter although it would be good if Rud was a starter cheers all

  4. Hey guys
Wot euros site we all using this year?
    Gunna have a look later,
Need my fantasy footy fix ?

  5. If Smalling and/or Martial get over 1 point between them tomorrow I’ll lose my ML. Surely LVG will rest a few, question is who though?…

    • Fingers crossed he does 😉
