Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatAnd there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.

On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.

For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

Has Smalling’s own goal lost the overall leader the title?

DDG and Smalling clean sheet robbed at the last minute. And the own goal!! Fck man, pretty much sums up this season. Red arrow incoming. Would have been in the top 10k.

When do we think the final league standings will be done?

I’ve noticed overall league is usually done before prices change so (2.30am GMT), monthly leagues are usually next morning. Fact there was only one game I reckon it could be done within the hour.

Just won my ML by 7 pts. It’s my first full season of FPL and the last 5-6 weeks have been nerve wracking. I went top in January and had a 100pt lead at one point. I’m a rugby fan really, but I thought I’d have a go for a laugh. The guys at work in my ML are fanatical football fans and have been niggling me for months, but the season has been so unpredictable it’s worked to my advantage. I started taking things a lot more seriously after Christmas and began logging on here everyday, so I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed on here and of course the guys who right the articles.

    Cheers

Well what can I say, another tense finale. Thanks for all the help on the site, I came second in both my leagues (25 people in each) so have a nice little payout coming my way a lot thanks to the site. Missed out retaining my ML championship by a single point in the end but this game works on fine margins. One less hit and the title was mine, having an extra 0.1 would have meant I would have brought in Mane instead of Tadic this week etc. But hey, its all good fun. Well done to all.

Lost my ML by 10 but I’ll be well inside the top 25K. Won 3 monthly prizes in my main ML also so I’ve had a very profitable FPL season. Cant thank everyone on here enough, all the RMTs, inside info and of course the amazing articles!! Next year we’ll all be aware of the chips and will have better plans so the casuals wont get the same upper hand as this season.

Many thanks again and here’s to an even more profitable FPL year for us all next year!
