Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
And there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.
On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.
For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

Lost my ML by, well I don’t know actually as I’ve not checked, but it’ll be about 6 points. That’s probably benching Bellerin against Spurs or probably TC’ing Carroll and not Payet. Or probably Carroll missing a 1 on 1 v Utd or probably and more likely Captain Sanchez blanking against Sunderland and Mannone keeping a CS and getting an 11 pointer in the same game for him. Probably could be 1 of a 100 things. Oh well. Move on. I’ve played that league for 9 years and won 8 of them. Was a proud record but it’s gone. But still, when I win the 9th next season then it’s 9/10 and I’d have taken that! That’s my one and only reflection on it all and I’ll not look back again. Bring on the Euro’s! Now I’ll be properly pissed off if I lose this title. Especially to you lot

Well played everyone this season – its not been easy, but its great to see many of you with decent ranks and winning or coming close to winning your mini-leagues!

Even though i do not post regularly, i very often log in and enjoy the reads. You guys have done an impressive and qualitative. I have pulled off an amazing comeback over the last 10 weeks which i thought would not be possible and you have certainly contributed to it. . Thank you and look forward to next year. Ciao

Winning 1 ML by 41 points and losing another by 14 points (so made some cash)

Disappointing season for me, finished 203k – not good enough, but next season I am determined to fight back next season.

Last season I ended up 4000th something, now 6000th something. Two times in top 10k is decent and shows continuity. ^o^

Seriously, I don’t belong there since my country ain’t present. I’ll just be annoyed playing the game, having to follow the Euro’s. I won’t follow the bloody Euro’s, not this year.
4th season playing and finished a career high of 34009, happy with that.

Not sure if I can be bothered with it myself, don’t know half the players or who will actually play!
Shadow, I am playing but I feel a bit like yourself and my knowledge is very very poor – but I will play, it looks fairly low maintenance to be honest. To counter my lack of knowledge and not knowing a lot of the players I have just created a team full of Premier League players past and present.
May as well play and keep yourself busy Shadow. Most of us seem to be playing apart from the odd lazy Dutchie. Articles on each group are coming along with one on the rules and a fixture tracker plus you’ll no doubt see plenty of RMT teams on here so it’s all on a plate really.
Go on then, you’ve twisted my arm.
