Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
And there it was gone. 37 weeks of sheer hell! For most anyway. Will the 38th be any better? Probably not! All logic seemed to go out of the window this time, taking with it the careful planning and attention to detail that most successful fantasy managers usually thrive on. Looking back it truly was the season of the underdog, ably accompanied by his close mate ‘Spoiler Dog’ as every best laid plan seemed to get scuppered at every single bloody turn, be it by an injury, a suspension, a rotation, a drugs test… On and on and on… to the point where we all just gave in and just had to finally laugh or cry. Always better to just laugh.
On which point we did. Well, we did both didn’t we, along the way. We all laughed, we all cried, we all had fun. Most importantly we all did it together. For better or for worse we all stuck at it and tried our best to help each other along the way. One big fantasy football community. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment and view this season, it means a lot, and means we are doing our job properly. We shall of course be back for next season but in the meantime please stick with us as we shall be playing Fantasy Euro 2016 over the summer as well as building up to the next FPL season with pre-season articles galore.
For now though, ‘enjoy’ what is left of this somewhat horrid fantasy season and we wish you luck in nailing your mini-leagues in the final week. Make sure you tell us how it went for you, either way. Every game starts at the same time this week so whether it’s pain or pleasure for you it’ll be over quite quickly. Here are the final 10 games…

Game marked as a 0-0 is a handy one for owners of Smalling/De Gea, like myself!
Why? There’s no way they will give clean sheets! All players will get 2 points and that’s it.
Ridiculously unfair of that’s the case. My opponent has a Bournemouth defender for God’s sake. How’s that fair. They should all get 0 points.
Yes Antonio you beauty!
I’d be very surprised if the Utd-Bou game isn’t rescheduled. The amount of money involved in the PL along with betting, sponsors, tickets, everything!
Also I reckon it’s marked as a 0-0 as Opta would have run their data as per normal to ensure thier database isn’t messed up.
Yes it may be rescheduled but from a fantasy team point of view it won’t be.
If it’s Wednesday there’s a chance. Also the fact that for Fantasy itself the prize fund is paid out in money, imagine missing out on top spot cause your De Gea and Smalling got two points cause of ‘suspect package’. Feel if it’s replayed, Fantasy will be involved.
All players given max points they would have received if it was a nil nil game.
Might have made my best decision of the season this morning with the idea of someone starting Antonio instead of Willian with Payet out and him playing further forward, hope you followed!
With the United game being postponed the game will still count as follows gw 38… not like they can shift it to gw 39 like the others during the season…
But with fa cup final next weekend the game must be tomorrow night or latest Tuesday night
OMG, fpl motherfuckers. Those fucking points won’t stand, will they?
Surely not. The game will be replayed tomorrow/tuesday and the points will be added then. Imagine losing your mini league to someone who had double Bournemouth defence, not right at all…
I’m losing out on third place in the league as my rival has De Gea and Smalling – that would be shocking if he gets it from an abandoned game especially has he only has nine ‘playing’ with no playing subs
Then again, with my luck this season, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Let’s all boycot fpl next season if that happens. 😛
Too right! ?
*Too right! 😉
