Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4GW4 is live! We kick it off with a lunch time fixture between future champion (in a parallel universe) Arsenal facing off with Newcastle. If both of their first three games this season are anything to go by, expect a lot of action but no goals. At 3pm we see six games commence. Sherwood looks down on Sunderland, hat-trick Wilson faces off versus Mahrez in a match-up of the EPL’s leading scorers, in other action Jose sees the “The Special One” Pardew pay a visit to Stamford Bridge. Continuing the three o’clock games, Watford bends over as they travel to the Ethiad, expect a lot of penetration from the City boys in that one. Pulis and his third worst defence (only CFC and Sunderland are worse) visit the Britannia for a Shaquiri concert. Liverpool host The Hammers in the last of the six 3pm games. Hopefully this time Benteke has someone other than Mignolet reach him with a ball in the air. Saturday is concluded when superstar Harry Kane goes for his 10th sorry, 1st goal of the season when he clashes with Everton.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. The Canaries visit Southampton for what promises to be another master class from Jerome and Pelle on how to finish. In the last fixture of the game-week the Swans defence order their Piña Coladas and put their feet up in what promises to be an easy afternoon as the Harmless four (Rooney, Depay, Mata and whatever) come in for a scoreless draw.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

I have to make my transfers tonight before Coutinho’s price plummets, can’t believe I’m taking a hit straight after my WC.
    What do you think?
    Coutinho & Barkley – Sanchez & Westwood
    Thanks

It sounds like a decent idea full time. Sanchez should probably have been in that WC squad… but you can’t have them all eh? Coutinho was a promising differential that I admire. You didn’t deserve to be rewarded with -2 points.

Sanchez (and Arsenal) were disappointing today but he could explode at any time. Stoke (H) is gold for him.

      • full time says:

Thanks James. Coutinho’s a twat I think we have all realised that tonight, good riddance to him! Yep Should of had Sanchez in my team don’t know what I was thinking, surely Arsenal (Sanchez) will come good……. Starting against Stoke I hope.

Coutinhos price won’t be falling tonight, I think that’ll take at least 3 to 4 days to drop.

Is now the time to sell Hazard and buy Pedro? I know it’s pre-international break, but with price changes it could be the optimum moment.

Swiss that’s my move and like you I’m willing to do it tonight. Reckon Pedro will go up to at least 9.7m so for me its a solid investment with an extra 1.9m ITB.

      • SwissChocks says:

Thanks Rambo. It’s good to have some solidarity. Here’s the next stage of the plan….let’s see if you agree.

Sell Cazorla and buy Sanchez with the proceeds tonight…..before Caz drops….but at the cost of -4?!!!?

        • OriginalRambo says:

Swiss great minds. Pedro in for Haz tonight (he’s defo going up tonight) and then closer to the end of the ITB / if Ozil is near dropping I’ll swap Sanchez in. Thats the plan anyway but knowing this years FPL I’ll have bigger issues by the time the next GW comes around.

    Time to Wildcard?

This week hasn’t been too bad but the likes of Mertesacker and Coates (and maybe even Hazard, Ozil etc.) are only likely to drop. International break good time for injury reason and can finally boost my team value.

Only thing stopping me is the fact that I don’t really know who should be in there! I would want four City players, no Arsenal etc. and no other teams are creating decent options to be honest.

    Thoughts?

I’d get 4 City if we were allowed more than 3!

AT and Swiss: I’m in a similar predicament. I don’t really wanna WC right now – as I’d probably only makes 3-4 major changes – but price changes could force my hand.

However, last season I seem to remember, that price changes were surprisingly slow over the international break. They were clustered around the start and end but were rare in the middle-10-days.

So maybe hold on? Really not sure right now.

Haz —–> Pedro looks very tempting though. Same for Ivan —–> Kolarov in my case.

      • SwissChocks says:

I’ve just bitten the bullet and done the Pedro for Haz thing. I’ll blame Rambo for the encouragement.

      • AT says:

James, once I have a team I’m content with – i.e. no more transfers can go through, seen how the season has begun – I can start to bank transfers. Until December I can plan my team of the foundations I set now and the team value I generate. I fear that if I wait I will fall behind as I start to take point hits to avoid price changes and model my perfect team gradually. To me it makes sense to get rid of the Sunderland defenders, the cameo players and the other ‘fallers’ and make way for those playing well.

Merte is only ill right ? so he will be back. Ozil with minor knock. Mahrez a precaution. Pedro in for Hazard and your golden.

      • AT says:

Dreamers, I suppose. My issue is that Coates, Pelle, Ozil could all drop very soon.

Not sure what I’d be saving it for either?

        • TheDreamers says:

AT – My computer didnt like my reply – it died….

Coates and Pelle are dropping tonight.

Let me ask you this – if you wc , who are the key players you would bring in that you dont have?
