Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4GW4 is live! We kick it off with a lunch time fixture between future champion (in a parallel universe) Arsenal facing off with Newcastle. If both of their first three games this season are anything to go by, expect a lot of action but no goals. At 3pm we see six games commence. Sherwood looks down on Sunderland, hat-trick Wilson faces off versus Mahrez in a match-up of the EPL’s leading scorers, in other action Jose sees the “The Special One” Pardew pay a visit to Stamford Bridge. Continuing the three o’clock games, Watford bends over as they travel to the Ethiad, expect a lot of penetration from the City boys in that one. Pulis and his third worst defence (only CFC and Sunderland are worse) visit the Britannia for a Shaquiri concert. Liverpool host The Hammers in the last of the six 3pm games. Hopefully this time Benteke has someone other than Mignolet reach him with a ball in the air. Saturday is concluded when superstar Harry Kane goes for his 10th sorry, 1st goal of the season when he clashes with Everton.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. The Canaries visit Southampton for what promises to be another master class from Jerome and Pelle on how to finish. In the last fixture of the game-week the Swans defence order their Piña Coladas and put their feet up in what promises to be an easy afternoon as the Harmless four (Rooney, Depay, Mata and whatever) come in for a scoreless draw.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Pushed myself into a hasty wildcard last night to stop myself losing team value in Coates, Pelle, Cedric etc. and taking advantage of Pedro, Kolarov and so on. Not a single one changed and now I feel like I may have wasted the wildcard, shite.

Let’s hope people were just waiting to see today’s games. Couple of sideways moves to do but certainly no major reconstruction going on. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. good time to wildcard even if I have a strong team with it only available till the end of December.

      They will change eventually.

      • AT says:

I would have thought so haha.

Hoping Wenger manages to buy a decent striker (lol, optimism at its finest) and a few more big names come through.

Deadline Day DDG +£65m for Bale? 😉

Did exactly the same as I have Pelle and Coates. Had a terrible start to the season so thought it was best to play it now!

        • AT says:

Morning Shadow, I reckon making a healthy team now will work better in the long run. My thought process was that it would allow me to bank my transfers more whilst my team value is high. A bit annoyed the price predictor websites got it horribly wrong last night to panic me into it but still hopeful that I will profit well from this.

Want Pelle to do well today mind!

It’s shite. We have to deal with it. Not having any players left to play leaves me really……………………………. *cries *

        • Shadow says:

Yep thinking pretty much the same. Also be interesting to see who else comes in before window closes. Interested to see how much De Bruyne will cost, 28 assists last year!

Although choosing 3 from Kolarov, Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, Yaya and Aguero is going to be tough!

        • Raziel says:

Shaxow. Aguero and Kolarov are both a must. For me it will be between de Bruyne and Silva. Will have to see de Bruyne play first and see what he takes away from the main mid Silva.

        • Wafflez says:

There arent any descent strikers left on the market (except maybe Pato)?

Looking at my mini league rivals teams and I have to admit they look much better than I first figured. Sighs. Will be a very painful year. Blood, sweat and tears. sad

One of my rivals is already at the 200 mark and has a team value of 102,2m already. I mean wtf?

      The B says:

Two of my close rivals were pissing me off because they both had double Liverpool defense. To minimize the losses, I got Skrtel and got served a huge mess in a plate.

But yeah, the casual players are doing really well so far. Its people like us who are suffering because we tend to find season keepers.

Only 7 home wins in premier league this season, let’s hope it stays that way after today’s matches.
Got 38 points and still Shaw, Depay and Hoolahan to go.

Having played my WC for GW4 I am now left with a couple of dillemas. Chelsea are leaking goals and Liverpool showed yesterday that their defence is weak too. I have Gomez and Azpil in my defence but don’t want to take point hits getting rid of them. Thinking the solution may be to play ALL OUT Attack chip for GW5 and put them on the bench and just keep Monreal and Kolarov in defence. Good idea or not?

Seems like Wanyama is not in the squad today. Preparing to shift to Spurs then eh?
