The game-week kicks off with Arsenal hosting City at lunchtime today and we wrap things up on Monday night with an equally glamourous tie as Hull ‘entertain’ West Ham. Oh and in between there’s the small matter of United potentially rolling out another three debutants.

GP, Riviere is a frustrating one. He keeps surviving in my team because of matters (pun intended) elsewhere. Even this week I’m probably going to get rid of Debuchy and Mata, so he’ll be around another week. Aching to get rid of him though! haha. Eventually he’ll make way for Welbeck, all things being equal.
I’ll keep Coloccini for the time being. I like his hair.

I can’t take the credit NIN. It’s a combination of the bib theory, and not trusting unsubstantiated media rumours (Reckon between Costa’s ‘injury’ debacle two weeks ago, and the frenzy around Mata not starting, I’ll continue to ignore pretty much any report that doesn’t have a direct quote attached to it).
Wonder how quickly Di Maria’s price will go up this week then?! Could be forced into making an early transfer.

Umm… I’m not great with maths but if you took a 4 point hit to bring in Di Maria (11pts), forsaking Mata (9pts) I wouldn’t say it’s paid off! I’m certainly making that trade this GW though. Can’t see Mata keeping up with ADM from hereon out.
Bryan, Di Maria is getting 3BPS. That’s 14 points for Di Maria and 8 for Mata (not 9). Not great at math either but I come out with +2 from that hit (plus I have the better player with better FPL future and also Mata dropped friday night). 😉

Where are you getting this info from Raz? I’ll be the first to admit Di Maria deserves all 3 BPS, but according to TotalFPL, who’s BPS I was assured was still accurate, states otherwise. Not saying you’re wrong, just interested to know where you’re sourcing the numbers from.
The FPL site? It says Di Maria 56 BPS. Mata will be dropped and Di Maria will be ahead of Herrera and Rooney. Rooney was on 48 just before and Herrera on 40, how did they switch the 2? F-ing pissing me off since Rooney is my cap.

Man, I have it all planned out. Not touching the transfer button and I’m booting out Chambers after the next game, probably. Chambers for Duff (or another 4m defender) and Rooney to Falcao. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, happy that Falcao won’t rise like crazy this week.

I’ve nothing to gain from ADM getting any bonus points, but considering he put in a MOTM performance and got 11 FPL pts, it seems rather shocking that he’s not currently in line to receive any BPS.

That’s a tough question TGP, and an answer will probably be little less than speculation. My gut says Di Maria will score more points, but gut feeling isn’t exactly “objective” or “reliable”.
Ummm. What do you mean? One would think a City fan doesn’t like United players so if you really ”aren’t” objective you’d say Di Maria would be shite and Fabregas will outscore him. You didn’t say that though. Maybe not objective but sounds reliable.
Howdy GP. I would say no, mate. In four games he’s barely had a strike at goal, yet still has 31 points! Here lies a beast, and an essential one at that. Snap him up mate 😉
I certainly wouldn’t sell fabregas for di maria and ideally you’d want them both. If I had to choose one I’d go for Fabregas just because he’s slightly cheaper

Burnley look stronger at the back than WBA and King was subbed off at HT yesterday. Whether this had to do with Cambiasso arriving I’m not sure.

Personally still a fan of Rooney. I think he’s the only one that is technically undroppable. Plus there’s the potential for both assists and goals.

Anyway, I’m planning on getting Falcao later on. Have Rooney but I do see Falcao as an upgrade in the long run. Really happy ROoney did wel today though. Hmmm, will watch the next match first before bringing in Falcao.
