Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW5 is live! It’s back baby! Let us commence the agony of having all our moves turn into a post International Break nightmare. Kicking our slow death by no FPL points is a match up of wonderful English names, Roberto vs Jose. Good thing Donald Trump isn’t running for Prime Minister. In the 3pm games we finally get to see the unveiling of Arsenal world class striker Benz.., Laca…, no one, Really?! Still Giroud?! FFS! In other action we see City and their actual big signings go hunting at Selhurst Park. Callum Wilson will look to validate the trust showed by many managers in him when Bournemouth visit Norwich. Watford welcomes 4th place Swansea and hope to keep the Panther from striking again. Saints and West Brom match-up after both earning their first win of the season. In the late game we see the geniuses at work when Rodgers and his confused XI travel to Old Trafford and face off with LVG’s utterly confused XI.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. As usual Sunderland are in the relegation zone this time of year and they play the once again disappointing Spurs, who are also their usual self this time of year. In the other Sunday fixture we see a battle between value mids, as Mahrez takes on Sinclair in a fight for the hearts of the bargain hunters.

We finish the game-week off with The Hammers opening the doors to a Newcastle side that started off as bad as FPL managers have this season, but at least the Toon haven’t been reduced to tears yet.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Another captain fail and no goal or assist from any of my players with 2 to play.Starting to think the way forward is to captain a defender every week !!!!

Jasprit, you may want to sit down before I break this news…

One of my players actually scored. A goal. A real one laugh

Point being, hang in there buddy. Most are in a similar boat. I think we all thought this odd bubble would have well and truly burst by now but then we said that in GW2. And 3, and 4…..

      • Brookyboy says:

Yeah bloody Benteke wondergoal after him and Liverpool never looked like scoring ! Nailed on he would score when I took him out !! laugh

        • inittowinit says:

Ouch! Glad I stuck with him throughout that one now, with hindsight obviously, as the next 2 games look fairly tasty for him. He was on the radar to go initially. Courtois canned any thought of that in the end really. Who’d you pick up instead?

        • Brookyboy says:

Wilson, freed up some cash.No regrets cos Liverpool look awful !!

        • Patrick_YNWA says:

I wildcarded this week, and even though I’m a ‘Pool fan, decided to have Aguero in rather than Benteke -_-
I was planning on a good week this week (as we all do with a WC team) and then using my FT to upgrade YYT to Silva. But, with Aguero disappointing again, I feel like replacing him is now looking better. Perhaps another City defender… but, it’s Aguero, right?!
Anyway, this is my squad. Thoughts? 37 points so far this week, so a nice haul

None of my players picked up a goal or assist, Kolarov is my only player better than 3 points.

      • inittowinit says:

Rare as hens teeth it would seem! More used to mentally logging a goal or assist on a Saturday afternoon every 20 mins or so. Almost given up even checking when my players are playing now!

        • Brookyboy says:

Used to be a buzz sitting down watching soccer Saturday watching the points roll in,now it’s torture.I found myself cleaning the house instead while it was on to keep myself preoccupied !! laugh

    I green arrows. bravooooooooo smile

from 2 million to 1.9 million now.

29 with Mahrez and Schmeichel to play. a clean sheet for schmeichel and a penalty save along with 12 other saves. a hattrickfrom mahrez and 2 assists. that would be sweet

  5. 65
    Tomas says:

29 pts with 2 players to go and hoolahan (13pts) with Targett (7pts) on the bench smile
    Another awesome week!

42 points with Mahrez to go, ranked 600k (My all time best). All my forwards and midfielders got 1 and 2 (C) Sanchez got 6 and my defense saved me Kolarov and Bellerin both with 9, how is everyone else doing?
