Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!

Will the average reach the dizzy heights of double figures this evening?

Hope my top 10k differential ”Rooney” pays off tomorrow. Think over 50 percent of the top 10k capped our big friend Costa. 😉

Poor pool, sighs. Sort of feared this would happen this season. Not even top 4 material. They should be very happy with the CL poule they’re placed in, which is rather weak (apart from Real).

GW 5 with projected bonus points according to the BPS numbers on the FPL site.

Expected overall average is 16 points from 4.5 players.

Average score in the top 10K is 19.2 (-0.5) points from 5 players.

22 from 5 with all the important players yet to come. laugh

ALso have 2 FT’s, really happy I also saved mine.

I see we both have Rooney as CAP. I noticed in the top10k like 50 percent capped Costa, Rooney has 20 percent or smt. Hope we made the right choice. This is what the game makes odd, I have Di Maria and Costa but my big rivals have them as captains, so I want Rooney to outscore them or them at least not to do too well, hahaha.

Same reason why I’m not in H2H leagues anymore. Was looking too much at my direct opponents.

      • The B says:

Ill be happy if Rooney scores just 1.

We cant expect much from Rooney since he would be playing in the hole if both Falcao and RVP start.

        • Raziel says:

Well, I do expect much. LvG said he’s the only player from the top 5 attackers they have that will always start because he’s captain (and for him a captain is very important, lol). Anyway. If he starts as a 10 he will move up to striker after 60-70 minutes. In all honesty, I love Mata but from FPL perspective it would be best if he doesn’t start if RvP and Falcao do.

I think there could be a shocker by the way, RvP really sucks hard lately. Maybe Rooney wills start next to Falcao? I say sell RvP. 😛
