Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!

Annnnnd that’s a massive 13 points from my “heavy hitters” Rooney, Fabregas, Costa, Eriksen, and Adebayor today, lol. laugh

    – Costa (c)
    – Left Clyne on the bench
    – Didn’t do Terry to Baines

Fantastic. That’s 40 points. I’d have got 50+ if I didn’t change my team from last week! Useless.

Nice time in London though. How’s everyone else’s weekend been?

Alright guys. Feel I need Di Maria in my team still (even after they lost to the mighty Foxes). I have 2 FT and am thinking of doing Naismith -> Welbeck and Ramsey -> Di maria. Thoughts? Is Ramsey to vital to drop thats the question. The other option would be a 352 and drop Ivanovic to accommodate Di Maria.

Also is it worth a -4 to swap out Guzan?

    Decisions…

    Cheers!

Shrugs taking Ramsey out and still considering to take a hit for Guzan. Where are your priority’s? Looking at your team now, have you used your WC not long ago? Hahaha. It’s like the complete dreamteam.

      • Fally says:

You don’t think Ramsey -> Di Maria is a good shout then no? Realisiticly a GK is getting 10 points max (unless a pen save) Outfield can easily get that so GK is my last priority. WC week 3.

        • Raziel says:

Yes, goalies won’t get you many points but yet you are prepared to take a hit and take a goalie out?

I took out Ramsey for Sterling and Mata for DI Maria 2 weeks ago. Was a good choice. So I can’t go against it. I think you either need to keep Guzan or use a FT on him, a hit is … not so smart…. I never take a hit for a defender/goalie unless I do it to afford a must have striker/mid…

My first hit was 2 weeks ago (like I said before) and it got me Sterling and Di Maria. Good choice, I felt change coming and it came. 😉
