Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!

    Absolutely perfect day for fantasy football. Ulloa is seeming like a necessary addition now…Rooney -> Ulloa maybe?

    Not having di maria and fabregas is making my team lose precious points. I’m having 2m in the bank and 1 FT
    1. Lamela out di maria in
    2. Lamela out fabregas in
    3. Lamela de gea ramsey out
    Di maria fabregas forster in (-8).
    Which transfer should I go for?

    RMT please

    Krul – Mannone
    Ivan – Clyne – Pieters – Naylor – Moore
    Fabregas – Ramsey – Sterling – Siggy – King
    Aguero – Costa – Naismith
    2 FTs, 0.3 itb

    Potential transfers:
    Naismith -> Ulloa
    Ramsey -> Herrera/Di Maria
    Pieters -> Chambers/Baines
    Krul -> ?

    Not sure if I can afford Di Maria, and not sure if I want him over Herrera anyways. Arsenal’s next 2 matches are tough, but their fixtures after that are great, so I’m thinking I’ll bring in Herrera now and maybe keep him until Walcott is fit and in form. Pieters can stay in my team the next 2 GWs as both Ars and Eve have tough fixtures. Mannone will start the next 2 matches so Krul can stay as well.

    So Naismith -> Ulloa and (perhaps) Ramsey -> Herrera this week. Thoughts?

    Does Siggy and Naismith out for Schneiderlin and Ulloa sound like a good move?

    Every brilliant tactical decision made yesterday wiped out by shite play today. Late Lampard goal ruined any hopes of salvaging a decent day. What was I thinking captaining Costa? Should have gone with my gut & kept it on Welbeck. Aye, the ups & downs of FPL!
