Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game and even that ones hard to call given the inconsistencies of both. We then have five 3pm kick offs and the day is rounded off as West ham host Liverpool in the evening game at 5.30pm. Sunday sees Leicester vs Man Utd and Spurs vs West Brom, both at 1.30pm followed by two 4pm games as Everton host Palace and the big one of the weekend that sees Man City square up to Chelsea.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for GW5 from all at FF247!
Heaton (McGregor)
Taylor Clyne Pieters (Moore Moreno)
Sterling Di Maria Siggy Silva (Zaha)
Balotelli Costa Welbeck
Want to take Balotelli out, who would you bring in? If needs be I will downgrade Zaha and take a point hit..
Also, SIlva didn’t impress me today but their fixtures are pretty good so I’ll keep him for this week at least I think.
Thanks
With QPR at home next week, Pelle has to be an option to replace Ballotelli. Nice fixtures until GW12 as well.
Is it not too much of a risk/waste of funds to have two mid priced strikers?
Not if their scoring goals with decant fixtures its not especially if you can make some money off them to fit the likes of Aguero or Falco in at a latter date.
Ah think I’m going to have to take a hit to get di Maria in.
Screenshot the team and we will advise
di Maria seems to be a “must have” right now. They were beat 5-3 and he still managed a bonus point.
Tadic or Schneiderlin ?
Tadic looks so promising in every game but nothing is going for him FPL wise. Just don’t expect Schneiderlin to score many more goals this year so i’d still get Tadic. If there is a place to start scoring points, its QPR at home.
+1 Jeet – I’m giving Tadic one more chance this weekend – if he doesn’t deliver vs QPR at home then he’s got to go.
Of those two I would take Tadic
Should I get Ulloa in this week to avoid the price hike even if it means a 4 point hit.
Are you keeping him long term? He’s got to go up 0.2 for you to sell him at 0.1 profit. He’s got a noise for goals but I can’t think he’ll continue this. Definitely seems a better option than Naismith though
Nose for goal. Damn you auto correct!
I’m taking a hit to get him in Burnsy. He’s a very cheap third attacker who is scoring goals and with Welbeck just out of my price range I’m getting him in tonight.
May be taking my first hit of the season this week, could be worth it.
At the moment, considering Rooney/Vaz Te -> Pelle/Ulloa to play 3-4-3 next week, and Pelle would be replaced by Welbeck after Arsenals 2 difficult fixtures. This would mean dropping Davis to the bench…i’m still unsure of his game time with JWP’s injury.
Of course, if i only made one of these changes, i could also look at changing a keeper, but a points hit doesn’t seem worth it.
I’d get Welbeck now. – his price is going to rise & I don’t think their match against sp*rs is a “tough” fixture. Sp*rs aren’t the team everyone thought they would be this year & I fancy Arsenal to win comfortably. BUT, I am extremely biased
Lawdogg, Spurs and Chelsea (A) or QPR (H) and Spurs seems like a no brainer…I can afford Welbecks price rises, and if Aguero hits form then Pelle -> Aguero will become the transfer after 2 weeks.
Anyone know if anyone’s price will rise tonight?
FT, thats the $64,000 question, no bugger has a Dan Magrew. :shake:
