Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW6 is live! And well lucky us as we got a special treat for a lunchtime game this week, with last year’s champions against the runners-up. Wenger always the bridesmaid finally sees a legitimate shot to knock off Jose in EPL action. However we all know that Arsenal will only kick start the Chelsea season and give them confidence going forward. In other action, ‘give it away Sherwood’ faces off versus the Baggies, who need all the help they can get scoring a goal. Callum Wilson gets another legitimate shot at a hat trick as he faces the Sunderland defence. Watford travels to Newcastle where the atmosphere promises to be delightful considering the Toon’s current position – bent over. Stoke welcomes in Mahrez and his legion of FPL admirers. Swansea look to recover after a loss when they take on Everton and their Scottish Messi, Naismith. In the last game of the day, City look to continue their incredible form as they tangle with the Payet dependent Hammers.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. We start the day with a dangerous Palace side visiting Spurs. This is a fixture that could have anyone pop up as the goal scorer… well, except Harry Kane, poor guy. Speaking of not scoring or barely scoring, ‘Mr. Interesting tactics’ Brendan Rodgers will look to call on the ghost of Suarez past as they welcome in Norwich. In the last fixture we see the resilient Saints look to contain future Ballon d’Or winner Adnan Januzaj sorry, future superstar James Wilson sorry, Anthony Martial? They rise and fall so fast, we can’t keep up.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

For the first time ever I captained a defender today.
It will probably be the last time too.
A big fat zero for Captain Kolarov.
Anybody make a worse captain choice?

Mate, u hav got a good team there, u shud be doin better.. Ofcourse we have said this 6 GW’s in a row this season.. But definitely captaining a defender is not our boat.. Oly inexperienced, not serious fantasy players can get away with it.. I am sure all this will end well, but not sure how soon..

      • Horse says:

        Well said Praveen.
It was either Kun Wilson or Kola for captain so it was inevitable I would choose the wrong one.

Still it is only a matter of time before it all sorts itself out.
But with Ighalo. Mahrez, Payet, Vardy, Hoolahan and Wilson easily outscoring the big hitters. I can see our teams with a massive amount of money in the bank.

Wildcarded this week.. Took Hazard, Azpi, D.Sakho and others out and got Aguero, Silva and Cresswell and others in.. FFS!!! Hazard and D.Sakho got a goal each, Azpi got a CS.. WTF!!

44 points with no one left to play.
awaiting 2 BPs from Francis and Mahrez each and 1 from Wilson to end my week at 49

miserable score i would say considering whatever happened today.

That’s nuts B-Bash. Do you think they were related to him? smile

      • B-Bash says:

Lol! Must be Horse! Credit where it’s due though! That’s like betting on a donkey in the top race and it coming in! I’m getting sick of relying on big names. 6 games in and still not learnt anything! :sad-face:

        • Horse says:

          It’s ridiculous isn’t it?
It just seems wrong to captain a player who costs half as much as the big names.
You could probably have a team which is doing well and still have 20m in the bank.

Why on earth would you deliberately do that?! Cleanie not a certainty against Arsenal in any way at all. Not to mention that him even starting was by no means guaranteed. Can’t even really see why you’d have him in the first place when you consider the ‘possible’ starter only thing.

Unless it was you in which case well done! laugh

      • B-Bash says:

It wasnt me mate! It was probably done on the wrong side of a load of Specled Hen!
I have my own regrets because I fancied Mahrez as cappo. Did it in my lads team, but not mine!

        • inittowinit says:

I was considering him myself all week until I remembered I had Benteke and I liked his chances this week. Especially as he is at home as opposed to Mahrez being away but evidently that doesn’t seem to matter to him! Need your big man to grab a couple tomorrow. Are you going?

Is this a sideways move?? I already have pedro aswell.
    Sanchez –> Hazard

    Top 1k average 28 points
Casuals on the way down? 😛
