Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW6 is live! And well lucky us as we got a special treat for a lunchtime game this week, with last year’s champions against the runners-up. Wenger always the bridesmaid finally sees a legitimate shot to knock off Jose in EPL action. However we all know that Arsenal will only kick start the Chelsea season and give them confidence going forward. In other action, ‘give it away Sherwood’ faces off versus the Baggies, who need all the help they can get scoring a goal. Callum Wilson gets another legitimate shot at a hat trick as he faces the Sunderland defence. Watford travels to Newcastle where the atmosphere promises to be delightful considering the Toon’s current position – bent over. Stoke welcomes in Mahrez and his legion of FPL admirers. Swansea look to recover after a loss when they take on Everton and their Scottish Messi, Naismith. In the last game of the day, City look to continue their incredible form as they tangle with the Payet dependent Hammers.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. We start the day with a dangerous Palace side visiting Spurs. This is a fixture that could have anyone pop up as the goal scorer… well, except Harry Kane, poor guy. Speaking of not scoring or barely scoring, ‘Mr. Interesting tactics’ Brendan Rodgers will look to call on the ghost of Suarez past as they welcome in Norwich. In the last fixture we see the resilient Saints look to contain future Ballon d’Or winner Adnan Januzaj sorry, future superstar James Wilson sorry, Anthony Martial? They rise and fall so fast, we can’t keep up.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

i have Yaya as i believe he will amongst the top 10 or even top 5 scoring mids at the end of the season
i have a lot of cash in hand though to swap him for Silva or KdB

but the debate stands should i keep him or swap him

i wonder how he did not manage to score yesterday. he looked like a demon

help guys. is he worth keeping considering there are viable options as KdB as well as Silva

Move would be sideways. YYT had a lot of decent shots, but WH defence and especially Reid was too effective.

      Keep for now.

I haven’t studied Yaya very much this season although going on the highlights last night he was indeed unlucky not to score. I think I’m still mistrusting of him due to his poor season last.

I think I look to Silva and KdB as being more assured of gametime than Sterling and more reliable consistently for attacking points than Yaya. That is just a general gut feeling though and not based statistically on this season so far.

In your shoes, it depend really how else you see those ‘saved’ funds being reinvested elsewhere. If you think you can upgrade another position or two to improve your weekly tally most weeks, then Yaya isn’t a bad option to have for his price.

      cheers guys

Yaya should do fine i wish

Looking on getting Payet. may be Sanchez needs to go

will wait for the cup results.

also planning on playing just 1 goalie. and Adrian might just be the perfect man

Who is the best budget defender to have for next GW?

I think my mids and forwards are fine, and would like to use the FT on Ward. 4.8M to spend.

    JEvans?

    Morning!

Anyone slightly concerned about Sanchez and kuns form? I know all the big hitters are still not firing but we are now 6 weeks into the new season!!

      AT says:

Morning Mitro, yes and no. I’m worried by their lack of goals and assists but they are getting into the positions and after watching Aguero blaze many wide yesterday (frustratingly as he was my captain with Mahrez as vice) I don’t have the balls to get rid of either of them. With the chances they are getting the goals will come. I’m just hoping they do soon! Leicester is the perfect game for Arsenal – an attacking side who can’t keep clean sheets.

      EBC says:

Aguero will come good. He’ll score a couple against Newcastle.

Morning Mitro ! Sanchez gets one more game or he is history.Promising a lot but delivering nothing and this form goes right back to the latter stages of last season.Aguero is a keeper, unless injured,as history shows us he will come good even though he seems a bit out of form at the mo.

Morning all, Match of the Day scared me about my lack of Chelsea coverage for their trip to St. James’. Chelsea’s tika-taka football is back and Newcastle’s defence looks utterly shambolic. Early days I know but thinking Sterling to Pedro to exploit this fixture then go Coutinho to City mid after the Spurs game to utilise their superb set of fixtures when Pool’s get trickier. Thoughts?

      The B says:

      Sounds like a decent plan.

      • AT says:

Cheers B, how’d you get on yesterday?

        • The B says:

Id say decent. Score of 40 gave me a green arrow and pushed me closer to the 500K mark. Hoping Benteke(C) comes good. smile

          How about you?

        • AT says:

Excellent score with a very good captain still to play.

On 49 with Souare and Coutinho to play so fairly happy, just annoyed I had Mahrez vice and Aguero captain and Francis on the bench. Hey ho.

Benteke can go big with three assists for a Coutinho hatty, if you like? 😉

        • The B says:

Honestly, ill take the three assists even if Coutinho scores the goals now. I am just desperate for my captain to explode.

Hey, even I benched feckin Daniels. The one time BOU gets a cleanie.

        • AT says:

I benched Francis as well ahhh. Couldn’t see a CS myself. Just unfortunate that Defoe missed a hatful and the full backs reaped the rewards in bonus points.

The statistics from this tie are making me wish I’d captained Coutinho myself :lurker:

          MATCH FACTS
Liverpool are on a 10 match unbeaten streak against the Canaries in the Premier League, winning nine of the last 10 matches. The last four Premier League meetings between these two sides have seen five goals or more scored. No side has scored as many Premier League goals against Norwich City as Liverpool (39).

      Mitro says:

I would defo have a Chelsea defender for the game! Still not to sure about their attacking line! Hazard was extremely lucky with his goal! I still think it was a OG. Pedro was the only one who was having a go so he would be the one!

Morning all what do people think of Sanchez? How many chances u giving him? I know what will happen, I’ll get rid of him then he will explode.
66 points every one played this week for me.
