Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW6 is live! And well lucky us as we got a special treat for a lunchtime game this week, with last year’s champions against the runners-up. Wenger always the bridesmaid finally sees a legitimate shot to knock off Jose in EPL action. However we all know that Arsenal will only kick start the Chelsea season and give them confidence going forward. In other action, ‘give it away Sherwood’ faces off versus the Baggies, who need all the help they can get scoring a goal. Callum Wilson gets another legitimate shot at a hat trick as he faces the Sunderland defence. Watford travels to Newcastle where the atmosphere promises to be delightful considering the Toon’s current position – bent over. Stoke welcomes in Mahrez and his legion of FPL admirers. Swansea look to recover after a loss when they take on Everton and their Scottish Messi, Naismith. In the last game of the day, City look to continue their incredible form as they tangle with the Payet dependent Hammers.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. We start the day with a dangerous Palace side visiting Spurs. This is a fixture that could have anyone pop up as the goal scorer… well, except Harry Kane, poor guy. Speaking of not scoring or barely scoring, ‘Mr. Interesting tactics’ Brendan Rodgers will look to call on the ghost of Suarez past as they welcome in Norwich. In the last fixture we see the resilient Saints look to contain future Ballon d’Or winner Adnan Januzaj sorry, future superstar James Wilson sorry, Anthony Martial? They rise and fall so fast, we can’t keep up.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

    Evening all.
Gutted with 53 knowing Coutinho should have made it so much more. What was that miss!?
Anyway, looking ahead, what would you do with this team? 1FT and £1.4m in the bank.

Currently thinking Sterling to Pedro (then I’d bring a City mid in for Coutinho after Villa) but also thinking about Payet and Martial. Anything worth a hit and which would take priority for you?

    Thanks in advance.

I’d do a sterling to payet for this GW. Pedro had a few good chances, but he seems to play too wide for my liking, though I have him. Sterling never looked like scoring yesterday, where as KDB and YYT looked much better imo.

      • AT says:

Interesting. Newcastle just looked so bad on Saturday that I think not having a Chelsea mid is stupid.

I may do a Begovic(c) for that (yes that is madness)..still i think Pedro may only provide an assist for me, I may sell him if he blanks against Newcastle… I am sweating about not having Payet..

        • AT says:

          Haha, no chance mate!

And yeah Payet does worry me. Two cracking fixtures but neither team are as poor as Newcastle defensively. Would it be worth Coutinho to Payet for -4 I wonder…

Coutinho was looking good, before missing that sitter!

Mate don’t even get me started! ahhhhhh

Payet really looking essential. But I’d hold on Sanchez at the moment. Look for any other option to get Payet
Gomis to Martial looks sensible, though I am not doing it.
