Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW6 is live! And well lucky us as we got a special treat for a lunchtime game this week, with last year’s champions against the runners-up. Wenger always the bridesmaid finally sees a legitimate shot to knock off Jose in EPL action. However we all know that Arsenal will only kick start the Chelsea season and give them confidence going forward. In other action, ‘give it away Sherwood’ faces off versus the Baggies, who need all the help they can get scoring a goal. Callum Wilson gets another legitimate shot at a hat trick as he faces the Sunderland defence. Watford travels to Newcastle where the atmosphere promises to be delightful considering the Toon’s current position – bent over. Stoke welcomes in Mahrez and his legion of FPL admirers. Swansea look to recover after a loss when they take on Everton and their Scottish Messi, Naismith. In the last game of the day, City look to continue their incredible form as they tangle with the Payet dependent Hammers.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. We start the day with a dangerous Palace side visiting Spurs. This is a fixture that could have anyone pop up as the goal scorer… well, except Harry Kane, poor guy. Speaking of not scoring or barely scoring, ‘Mr. Interesting tactics’ Brendan Rodgers will look to call on the ghost of Suarez past as they welcome in Norwich. In the last fixture we see the resilient Saints look to contain future Ballon d’Or winner Adnan Januzaj sorry, future superstar James Wilson sorry, Anthony Martial? They rise and fall so fast, we can’t keep up.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Anyone know if Martial’s price is frozen?

i doubt it, he has been in the epl longer then a week

      • full time says:

Pedro’s price seemed to be frozen for much longer than a week though I thought. Was it?
If its not frozen his price will shoot up. Ummmm….

        • When I had Mccarthy his price was said to be rising for weeks before it finally did, his main transfers in were same team Speroni & Hennesey.
I didnt buy in Pedro – partly as I saw all his ‘transfers’ were just in team swaps from Hazard & Fabregas, similar to McCarthy.

Martial is coming from all over, not too many active Roo owners left. I am buying in – and if his price goes up tonight then they have indeed been adjusting to discount in team swaps.

    Hi everybody.
I would like to ask about your opinion- what do you think about taking 4 pts hit to change Aguero for Costa for next gameweek? CFC plays against Newcastle. After this week, I would change back to Aguero, because Man City has easy fixtures after Tottenham.

I would be gratefull for your opinions.

Is anyone who has seen Martial play willing to comment on him please? Has he played well, does he get lots of chances during matches or is he more efficient or just plain lucky so far, etc.

      Smash10 says:

He’s not involved much. But he’s extremely efficient. Looks really cool when he gets the ball and his finishing has been really good. He plays on the shoulder of the last defender looking to run behind.

      Composed and clincal!!

      • Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Definatly worth a look at. He’s an annoying price for me, sits right inbetween premium and cheap. Scored a good first goal, got gifted the second but finished it well, his confidence is high. I dont think he will be a 20+ goal player this season though, just my opionion, seems to drift in and out of the games.

      SAFs_hairdryer says:

Reminds me a bit of Ronaldo (Brazilian crap hair Ronaldo). He makes good runs in behind, has the ability and strength to run past people and looks ice cool in the box. He doesn’t do a lot else and operates almost exclusively in the final third.

Utd sat too deep for the first 30 and last 10 vs Saints today but when the pushed forward the play came to him and he looked dangerous. Didn’t have a lot of chances but scored twice. Nuff said

      • Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Lol Ronaldo?!! Get a grip on reality! He reminds me of Remy which isnt a bad thing. He wont be taking games by the scruff of the neck and will rely heavy on supply from the mids.

        • SAFs_hairdryer says:

Not saying he’s as good as Ronaldo just that he reminds me of him in his play. He’s plenty better than Remy. He may have only played a few games but looks very confident and composed together with good strength and pace.

        • Raziel says:

Captain Dicky a Gooner? Sighs, poor gal. Giroud is a good too… ahum……………….. :p

Dude is just 19 and will just get better and better. Can’t be sharper but he could be more involved. More shots on target and so on. One thing is for sure, the teammates notice he’s the one on fire so they will def. try to find him.

Right, i’ve taken my points police suit off. Which combo of 2fts would you choose ? laugh
    Pedro or Sterling to Payet.
    Gomis or Wilson to Martial.

I want to try and get in Payet and Martial, but also have Courtois/Ward situation
2 FT and 0.7m, what would you do?

    • 234.1
      SAFs_hairdryer says:

No particular rush to get rid of Courtois. One keeper is much the same as the others. You could play Richards if you want to use the transfers elsewhere. Martial vs Sunderland one you don’t want to miss

    • 234.2

You could join me on the long trek through the desert of Ward (translation: I’m trying to hide him on end of my bench until he comes back).

Maybe you could do Oxford > 4.5def ?
