Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!
Will Rooney’s price drop tonight does anyone know?
Not sure if TotalFPL is working right or now, but surely Rooney has to fall.
rooney not going down as of yet!! on -44%
Thanks B, who do you think is worth bringing in? Welbeck or Pelle?
danny has favourable fixtures and is looking pretty good! so welbeck for me!!
Lol, Pelle also has favorable fixtures and he’s playing in the better team. 😉
Pelle for me.
Arsenal has not looked very convincing yet, and Pelle is reaching great form as each GW passes by.
Probably. If not tonight then definitely tomorrow.
Rooney + Ramsey to :
A. Dzeko + DiMaria (Dzeko only a short term option, since Jove is soon back. Also ManUtd’s fixtures arent that good in coming 4 GWs)
OR
B. Aguero + Chadli (Aguero is nailed and proven goal scorer. Consistent too. Chadli could be a hasty move here.)
C. Welbeck + Silva (Welbeck has Chelsea next though, could be a move too soon.)
I’m leaning towards Welbeck over Dzeko now.
But, in your case, I’d be tempted by Agüero.
Are there no better options than Chadli?
You tell me James!!!
Got a 7.4M budget over a midfileder. Could have bought Tadic, but he is 0.1M expensive, and I already got Pelle for SOTON cover.
I can go for Downing as well. He has QPR and Burnley next. Henderson also an option, but too defensive at the moment.
I have no idea :’) if I did I’d have suggested some haha, Downing is interesting, shame Valencia is classed as a forward.
Hendo looks a decent shout for next week.
Wilshere perhaps? #uberdifferential

Lads: assuming Rooney is gonna drop like a stone this week (0.2m at least) then do you think I should sell him tonight? It’s risky but I think it may be worth it.
If you get Pelle it doesn’t matter but Welbeck has Galatarasary this week
What about Aguero? Any midweek activities for him?
id say yes, even though he looks to stay static tonight… who you thinking buddy?
Welbeck I think… Dzeko could get rotated and Arsenal have good fixtures after Chelsea. Horse makes a good point – Welbz has CL midweek – whadya reckon?
James – sell sell sell
james – If i had him, he’d be gone already mate.
Thanks fellas. He’ll be on his way very soon.
Think ima chance Welbeck.
0.9 itb, 1 ft. think ill keep it this week, thoughts?
(i like to make quick transfers to beat price rises/drops- hopefully my ‘depth’ will cover injuries)
hazard – no obvious problems
Yes, Id say keep the FT. Unless you want to change Terry, who has Arsenal, United and Liverpool in coming 5GWs. Im not selling Cahill though.
thanks B, was actually thinking of upgrading terry up to ivan, but will probably hold this week!
Got to go, auf wiedersehen bitches.
Just realized City plays Roma on Tuesday.
