Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

At least you have two to go, nice. Pretty boring gwk all round eh? Well, FPL wise 😉 I’m really happy with my squad, shame it hasn’t kicked off yet but that will come. FT used already for Janmaat -> Mangala. He had a mare this week but he’ll be a beast in gwk’s to come, or at least i hope so anyway

Nin, yer pleased mate. Still a few to sort out but nothing major, except Rooney! What’s your opinion on augero or pelle (and then I can get baines for Peter’s too). I’m edging for the second because if I bring in pelle now I will get a price rise this week, baines will be a good differential as a lot of teams are starting to look very similar at the front. He also gets 90 every week compared to augero who is 3.5 more, injury prone (rumours he may be injured now) and didn’t look interested today. All that said, it’s augero and one day soon he will go mad and score 4!
I would favor Aguero mate. His fitness is always a concern but City seem to be keeping him wrapped in cotton wool, which is a plus. Plus they look to be kicking into some form so Aguero could easily beast it up vs Villa and Spurs, he’s likely to be my (c) for both those games.

I do think your right and he has always done me well fantasy wise so maybe this week is a good time to bring him in. Interesting call bringing the Hull fans favourite in, think they’ll keep some cleanies soon? Is he 6mil? Do you have baines as well??
Waiting until after the CL game is 100% the right move. I rate Mangala highly, to be honest, i’ve been waiting on him to be fit, he’ll do the business. Yeah i’ve got Baines already, have done since gwk 3.
You’ve done well to get that pair plus augero, costa, adm etc set to go with the differentials. There really is a lot of similar teams out there (mine included)!
Coleman is next on my shopping list, beast defence 😉 Yeah, a lot of teams are beginning to look very similar. Give it another month or so and we’ll start to see some diff’s and what not. That’s kinda my agenda just now with the big defence. I fancy Coleman&Baines to kick ass from gwk 8 on, hopefully Mangala follows suit.
Bloody hell NIN, your going to have a better defense than most premier league teams! Im not a fan of a top (or bottom??) heavy defense, I feel more points are scored up top. Still, come the end of the season we’ll have a way better idea!! Who are you downgrading?

don’t need bertrand AND clyne. bertrand–> 4.5.

2. too much on keepers- downgrade fabianski (you will have taylor already) to 4.5 (mannone?)
3. use money to do chadli/ schneiderlin –> premium mid (silva?) and then if you can do naismith–> pelle or welbeck.
Got a solid 50 points with Begovic yet to play ! 4550 in the world currently and really happy
