Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

    Morning ..

    How’s everyone doing.
Jeez this FPL is getting tough..
40 pts with Pieters to play,.. green arrows & up 6k places to 13k…WTF..!
    So I got 2ft & 0.9 ITB.
Baloteli / De Gea for the chop. But to get Aguero I’m taking a 4 pt hit.
Moreno seems the obvious one to get the bullet, but Liverpool have some tasty fixtures, so Pieters could be sacrificed…
I’m seriously concidering going Double Dutch at the back with Soton’s Clyne & Bertrund looking irresistible at the mo..?
    Anyway your help is needed.
    Thanks..

      Bigpopz,

      Excellent news on your positioning!
Fixtures look irresistible for Southampton yet they conceded against a team that had only managed three goals prior..too much of a risk in my opinion-and an unnecessary one!
If Stoke don’t get a CS today I think Pieters will be getting the chop in my team too.
How much do you need to raise for Aguero?

I Need 1.3m to swap out Balo for Aguero..
Downgrading Moreno leaves 4.3m for a defender.
If I downgrade De Gea for Mannone / 4.5m goalie, then I’m still 0.4m short.
        Any tips..?

          Bigpopz,

That’s a tricky one. You have to ask yourself whether Aguero is better than the collection of players you’re taking out. Balotelli looked lively yesterday and was unlucky (or rubbish, depends how you look at it ;)) not to score..either way I think he should go. Personally don’t think Aguero is worth the hige downgrades you would have to do to accommodate for him..Falcao is a good option.

          Cheers buddy.
I so want Balo to do well at pool, but can’t see it.
Aguero is becoming a must have, he bloody scores every game …almost.

Bigs- I would think that it simply depends on today. If Pieters gets 2 or less, I’d get rid.

I’ve a lot of similar to yours and considering similar moves but less funds
