Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

      Jon9898.

Gutted you beat me in the Bants H2H this week, Bringing in Bertrund & Captaining Pelle killed me..
      Well done chap.
You’ve got lots of options & cash to spend replacing Rambo & Rooney,
I’d be looking at Aguero personally.
Why not take a few hits so we can catch you in the league…..lol

Thanks mate, captaining Pelle sure paid off this gw . I am taking my first hit this season to sort out this Rooney – Ramsey dilemma.
The only thing I am thinking about is should I do it today or wait until after CL games this week

Morning! To take our minds of tricky transfer decisions and (temporary?) sets of red arrows, how about we look ahead, and think about the GW7 captaincy?

    1) Sterling vs WBA (H)
    2) Dzeko / Aguero vs Villa (A)
    3) Costa vs Arsenal (H)
    4) Siggy vs Newcastle (H)
    5) …any other suggestions?

The 4 that I’ve listed are in my current order of preference. I just think Sterling has been playing very well, is at home to weak opposition AND so far so scored on every ‘odd’ gameweek which suggests he’s due another good week!

Will Jovetic get back into the City side next week (provided he has recovered)? Thinking about bringing in Dzeko for Welbeck but not sure of gametime…

Another poor week from me. 1FT, 1.1 in the bank.

I was thinking Balotelli in for Rooney. Is that ok?

What should I do with Ramsey? Options are: Di Maria, Silva, Henderson, keep Ramsey.

Captain Dicky and His C Men says:

Hello all, team below. Thinking about removing Ramsey and Naismith for Chadli and Dzeko? Thoughts? Dzeko may be a risk with Jovetic returning so any other suggestions? Pelle?

    Thanks

Everyone is bringing in Dzeko. I personally am not seeing a big point scorer in him just yet. 2 goals so far this season, both netted this weekend. Not very consistent. Also his first 90 minute match of the season. So even with the very favourable fixtures ahead I won’t be bringing him into my team. I might be alone on this, but yeah.
Pellé is very consistent and has some nice fixtures coming.
