Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

I was thinking Ramsey to Silva short term. Arsenal have a nice run of fixtures coming up after the Chelsea game though, so maybe Ramsey to Ozil, to keep the Arsenal coverage.

    Ok Lads
I bought RVP ahead of Mwk 6 and Captained him.
With Rooney absent now for 3 matches you watch what RVP does?
He will get the club Captaincy back and hit a purple patch.
I am happy i have RVP as my differential.

Wow just watch! Bought Falcao yesterday and he dropped 0.1m tonight. Pricechanges yesterday still figured he was at +104%! How off can they be? HAHAHA. Check, this is a screenshot from my team from yesterday.

Happy with my starting team for this GW except, of course, the keepers. Any point using my FT this week to change Green or Guzan to another keeper? If so, who?

At the moment, i’m feeling to hold the FT for next week and looking at changing the defence or Davis.

2.9 mil in the bank as well. Thoughts?

Looking a lot like my team but with a better defense. You seem all set. This is my team for the next GW.

I might even be tempted to play Hutton because City will also have a midweek game. Tempted to cap Falcao because Everton have a game on Thursday and Falcao is super hungry.

      • Mr Bean says:

Is there anybody who doesn’t have that midfield four, especially now Ramsey is injured?!

Couldn’t call which of our teams will do better next week…Falcao could be a great call against Everton with their Europa fixture on Thursday…here i’m hoping for a United defensive display as it was against Leicester, couple of penalties would go down well 😉

Clyne or Pieters is my only decision…will see what happens on Monday. Considering any transfers this week yourself?

        • Raziel says:

Done already, bit prematurely. Terry out for Moore (Leicester really do have great fixtures from now on). smile

Was tired of looking at his head… 😉

After the United game I will do Pieters to Baines or Chambers to Baines. The plan always was to do Chambers to Baines but he actually has 4 decent fixtures after the Chelsea game. Would be crazy. Plus if I do Pieters I’ll have 0.6m extra to upgrade another defender, if needed.

        • Mr Bean says:

Leicester defence is definitely something i’m considering as a replacement for Naylor/Pieters in the next few weeks.

Playing around with wildcard teams, i keep removing Chambers and then realising he’s guaranteed for 3 months in a top 4 team with good fixtures coming up. Pieters -> Baines is a sound move next week.

Aaah yeah, I had Fabregas and Siggy from the start. Got Sterling and Di Maria in after GW3. Also had Pelle before dude started scoring. Main reason why our ranking is so high I think, we’re 1 or 2 steps ahead of most people. Even took Di Maria in for a hit when he scored/assisted and got 3 bps.

        • Raziel says:

Plus, most people have a team like ours but they get in Di Maria the week after he scored the 14 points. A lot of people also used their WC’s already. I’m keeping hold of mine. Don’t think I’ll use it before March/April.

        • Raziel says:

Baines will get his fair share of points, in the end he’ll be a topscoring defender. Sort of shitty he’s playing European games though. That’s why I like having Soton/United coverage, they don’t have European games.

        • Mr Bean says:

I put my high position down to avoiding a lot of bad decisions other people have made and getting rid of players before bad things have happened:
          – Kept Mata for GW2
          – Kept Costa while he was injured
          – Bought in Di Maria for his 14 points, Baines for his 10 pts
          – Got rid of Ramsey before his injury
          – Got rid of Rooney for Pelle this week (and captained him)

Choosing the right defenders to bench has ruined me though.
