Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

  1. 50 points this week (46 after reducing the 4 point hit)
    quite happy with it.

but this week will become brilliant if stoke concede as a LOT of my rivals have pieters in their teams.
especially my banterbury rival who is 5 points behind me right now.

i’ll be a newcastle fan for tomorrow it seems 😛

    • 46 seems sound, I’m currently on 35 with Pieters to play (I’m a Stoke fan I guess 😉

    • jasprit,

Seems a good haul to me on a quiet week, well done!

    • thanks guys. pretty happy with it.
thank god some people talked me out of captaining welbeck 😛

    • Well done mate! I ended with 44! smile Wisdom saved my ass with a nice clean sheet today.

    • I scored 53 this week after a stuttering start to the season so happy with that. In the words of Alan Partridge, “Kiss my face!!”

  2. Currently have Green and Guzan in goal. Do i use my FT this week to bring in Schmeichel (Burnley at home and great fixtures after) or play one of Green/Guzan and have 2 FT for next week? Happy with the rest of my team.

    • Mr Bean

If you are happy with the rest of your squad then why not?

I’d leave it to Friday though to see if you have any injuries to deal with after the European matches but it may be us the quiet week you after after to make the change back there.

  3. For Rooney/Ramsey

    Kun/Tadic
    Pelle/Silva
    Welbeck/Silva

    Thanks

    • Kun/Tadic for me.

    • Ripcurl,

Would you not consider holding Ramsey on the bench? Wenger says he thinks he’s only out of the Chelsea match, which is hard enough itself. Then Hull, Sunderland, Burnley & Swansea after that.

But Kun & Tadic if you are not interested in that.

      • Problem is I have Mutch lol

  4. This is my current team for GW7.

    • Quick question. Fabregas, Silva, Di Maria or Gerrard?

      • Sad to say, ADM out of those 4. And I’ve got all the others but not him!

  5. Evening everyone.

Not that I have him currently (so you can tell me to get stuffed if you wish !), but are there any Ramsey owners going to sit tight and bench him?

Seems to me he’ll only miss a tough Chelsea away fixture due to this injury. Nice games after that if you check.

  6. hi guys.. need opinions on who to transfer this week. thanks!

    • deserteagle,

Not much desperately needing done but I think anyone with Eriksen, needs to look at his numbers so far this season. Again yesterday, he assisted the assister (Lamela) for the goal. Only the one goal at Sunderland has me a bit worried.

How about either Tadic or Mane as replacement? I get you have Cork already but Southampton have some good fixtures to come and I believe Tadic or Mane will be bigger hitters than Cork.

      • totally agree with you on Erikson. I also wanted Baines in.. or should i wait until GW8 to transfer him in?
