Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW6 is a strange old week, it starts great with an exciting Saturday and slowly disintegrates to a potential bore-fest. However, fantasy points are available all the way through, so there’s enough action to keep us going. Just.
We kick off with the Merseyside derby at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime – anything to keep those scousers out of the pub before the game – sadly, they’ll probably do a Friday all-nighter instead, completely defeating the point of starting the game early, but whatever. Then at 3pm we have six matches – Chelsea host Villa, Palace welcome Leicester, Man City go to Hull, Man Utd take on West Ham, ‘Arry takes his Rangers back to one of his old haunts down on the South coast and Sunderland do battle with Swansea. Early evening, its derby no.2 as Arsenal take on Spurs at the Emirates, always one to look forward to. And that’s the fun really, though on Sunday Burnley go to WBA and if you still haven’t lapsed into a self-induced coma by Monday then Stoke vs Newcastle may just finish you off.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW6 from all at FF247!

How likely is Baines & Moore to rise before saturday?

I´m going to do Terry & Wilson too Baines & Moore and I have just enough to do it now, cant afford any price changes and dont want to take a hit if its possible.

So, I have a problem afoot.

And firstly revolves around Rooney kicking himself Down(ing) the tunnel back to the sheds for an early bath – out for three games, and my bench is nowhere near strong enough to cope.

Also, my defence is somewhat weak given the opponents and the likelihood of points scored.

Isgrove is reducing in value, but I’m not too bothered, however it is starting to annoy me.

My midfield, I feel although I’ve got the same midfield as every other guy on the planet.

    So, options –

WILDCARD? – is it worth it? Is it warranted? I’ve just hit top spot, by three points, with all my closest rivals already wild carded… do I save it and keep the upper hand?

    – Rooney needs to go.
Option A) Ulloa; Lei face BUR, new, saw, WBA, sou & SUN in their next 6
    Option B) Vardy, cheaper
Option C) Valencia/Sakho (WHam) face QPR, bur, MANC, stok, VILLA & everton.
Option D) Dzeko, where I’m not too fussed about MAN City’s fixtures as you could argue their players are fixture proof. However, Dzeko has not had a great run in the team, with his two goals yesterday being his only Prem goals of the season.
Option E) Falco, obviously will have at least three games of improved game time, however MAN UTD’s upcoming fixtures are difficult, especially to say how poorly they played against lesser sides.

    What we thinking?

Morning Shades, you obviously want everyone to say ‘B’, so let me think, mmmmmmm ! I’d go for B personally. laugh

50shades – there is absolutely no need to wildcard. you have 6 mf/attackers in place already that don’t need changing plus clyne/chambers/hutton from defence so even if you WC you are going to, what, change about 3/4 players – no point. depending on how many free transfers you have, change rooney or ronney and a def. your best bet is ulloa and baines and coleman. then just give it a few gameweeks.

      • 50ShadesofBenteke says:

Only have 1 free transfer this week mate.

I actually wrote option B with a closed bracket and didn’t realise it would change into an emoticon haha.

What do you guys think about the West Ham duo, Big Sam seems to be trying to play much more attacking football this year?

Hey lads. Am I allowed to post my private classic league code here so people can join?
It’s just a friendly league that counts points from GW6 and onwards, because I joined FPL for the first time ever for GW6. It currently consists of me and only me, so it would be greatly appreciated if anyone would join. smile

Had to do it… I know its a rookie mistake but needed to get rid of Ramsey quickly (foolish me) and brought Sterling in (Also dropped Henderson for Chadli). So team now is….
    Mannone (Heaton)
    Wilsom N.Taylor Moore (Bertrand Wisdom)
Sterling (VC), Siggy, Chadli, Di Maria (King)
    Costa Aguero (C) Falcao

Been catching the top guys so very happy with my team. Currently 12 755 in the world with Wilson still to play tonight smile
