Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 7 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5GW7 is live! Another lunch time kick-off to get us going. The Citizens will be looking for someone to take it out on after their shocking loss last week to the Hammers. Lucky them because usually nothing makes a Pelligrini led side feel better than an encounter with Spurs. In the last four EPL fixtures between the two, City has outscored them 16-2, yowzers! After City has had Spurs for lunch we have six 3pm fixtures. Leicester tangle with Arsenal in what is a sure to be a display of great attacking talent…all wearing blue. Liverpool host the Villians in what could be a win or get sacked affair for Brendan Rodgers. In other action Sunderland travel to Old Trafford for a spanking, Saints battle with Swans in what looks to be an up and down affair. Relegation placed Stoke City takes on Bournemouth and the massive Wilson contingent. We also see 3rd place West Ham and the Payet lovers take on the Canaries in a game that has goals and plenty of them written all over it. In the last game of the day Newcastle see the resurgent Chelsea ( Thanks Wenger ) side come in for a visit and 3 easy points.

On Sunday we only have one fixture. As Watford takes on Crystal Palace in a game that will only see a few people perk up considering the ownership levels.

Monday we see the game-week off, with the forever exciting Baggies squaring off against Naismith and ten no-names.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Morning all, stupidly did my transfers last night in a rage at Gomis! Took a point hit to bring in Martial knowing that not having United cover was pushing me out of touch. I know the fixtures are bad but I’d still expect them to bring goals home over the course of the next three and then they have a great run where I might have been priced out of him.

Just not sure ditching Gomis with his fixtures was a good call, although they pay Spurs next and Lloris looks a formidable opponent to the strikers this year! Hey ho, onward and upwards!

You are having a superb first season- well done and enjoy it.

That squad is strong all over. I would b tempted to save your FT if you do not have nay injuries to deal with closer to next week. Monitor Silva’s injury over the course of the week including his participation in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Hi guys, I’ve come into a bit of trouble and could do with some ideas from my fellow FPL managers.

Problem is my defence. No Targett, Muniesa or Gomez means 54 points from 10 men and the chance of them not seeing game time for a while. Only got 1 FT and Wilson. Plus I really wanted to get Payet in for the coming 2 GWs (prob for coutinho) and I hate taking hits.

I’m thinking Gomez out, maybe for J Evans(is he nailed on starter now). And then taking a -4 begrudgingly to do Coutinho –> Payet. It just feels like I’m taking a hit to change a defender sad

I’d then have to use up my FT next week to change out Targett or Muniesa.

    Ideas please.

You need defenders before Payet in my view so if you are taking -4 it is for Payet. He will probably justify the -4 across the season easily but that’s up to you and how you feel about points hits. Gomez to Evans and then Targett out with the FT next week I think.

        Yea. Cheers GP.

Is Evans a nailed on starter? With Pools tough upcoming fixtures and WHs kind 2 GWs it seems that Cout–>Payet might be feasible.

What about Morrison? Is he a guaranteed starter? If so then I could play 3-5-2 for a couple of weeks, and loose TV on Wilson as he decreases.

Do you think Kolarov might be rotated after Man Cs last 2 defensive screw ups?

      Andy says:

Don’t shift out Coutinho, I’d shift Wilson out before moving him as it doesn’t look good for the Bournemouth forward playing in awhile unless of course you’d be happy to play Morrison. I would make Gomez the priority FT though but you have dodged a bullet by scoring 54 this GW with only 10 men.

So this is my team guys, obviously Wilson needs to go and maybe one or two of my defenders, and also sterling.
So since I have 0.5itb and 2fts, what should be my priority transfers?
    1) Wilson,sterling,pedro/pelle–>vardy,KdB,Payet/sakho(-4)
    2)Wilson,cedric–>vardy,Evans (no hits)
    3)Wilson,pelle,pedro–>sturidge,ighalo,payet(-4)
    4)Wilson,Coates,sterling–>vardy,evans,payet(-4)
    5)Wilson,pelle,cedriic–>vardy,martial,b.davies(-4)
….or should I be doing something else?

This needs som tlc i think 😛
    Gomez to J.Evans
    Wilson to Igahlo
    For a -4 a bad idea?
I might just do the wilson move, ot any other thoughts ?
