Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 7 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW7 doesn’t begin until 3PM on Saturday which feels strange but don’t be deceived by this please – the deadline remains at 11.30AM, UK time.
There are five 3pm games which are-
Hull vs Crystal Palace
Leicester vs Burnley
Liverpool vs West Brom
Sunderland vs Stoke
Swansea vs Newcastle
To conclude your Saturday entertainment Aguero and co take their considerable talent up to face Roy Keane’s beard, aka Aston Villa, at 5.30pm in the early evening kick-off.
Sky Sports’ ‘Super Sunday’ is currently under investigation after a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act last week. (*legal team edit: they’re not). They bloody well should be though. (*legal team edit: they’re really not). Either way this Sunday should prove to be much more interesting as there are four games which will all hold fantasy interest aplenty. Unlike last week (legal: clears throat) –
Man Utd vs Everton 12pm
Chelsea vs Arsenal 2.05pm
Spurs vs Southampton 2.05pm
West Ham vs QPR 4.15pm
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck for GW7 from all at FF247!
Lads – need some advice – if Aguero kicks off today then do you think this would be worth a wildcard?
Terry + Sterling + Dzeko —–> Baines + Welbeck + Aguero
Those are the main moves. With another handful of tweaking of course.
I’d say those are good transfers, I’d say it’s between Sterling and Fabregas out. Depends on who performs today/tomorrow. I personally prefer Sterling over Fabregas. Especially when Sturridge is back and fit for play. It has to be said though, Sterling is my favourite player so I might be a litttle bias (trying not to).
Cheers. That’s true actually, and Sterling has the better fixtures too.
But, would you wildcard at all to do those moves, or stick?
Here’s my current (untouched) team:
This team already looks good if you ask me.
I know eh… but no Agüero, no Baines. That’s the thing.
Terry to Baines? Problem solved?
+1 Terry -> Baines.
Aguero not worth the 12.2 mil price tag at the moment in my opinion…
Indeed. Realised after I’d typed that!
Still, no Agüero, but if Dzeko performs then I’ll be alright for now. Think you’re right in that it would be a slight waste to wildcard.
Sterling has been freaking unlucky not to score more points. His team is more at fault than he is. If they had a worldclass striker like Suarez/Costa/Falcao or even RvP they would’ve managed to score loads of goals. Now everytime he has a terrific pass but Balo screws it up, Henderson screws it up, Coutinho screws it up, Makalalalalalalavic screws it up and whatever the other guys are called. 😉
Suarez replacement is very average, Pool messed up during transfermarket. They did a Spurs. 😉
They really have… making Spurs’ spending look good!
Sterling I should probably keep, but same goes for Fabregas, ahhh let’s just wait and see what happens today…
Yes wait and see, and good luck to you.
With a goalkeeping change and provided Chambers survives today without a yellow card, GW8 looks like its gonna bang! All of those fixtures looking juicy 😉
Nice! If I don’t wildcard then Terry —–> Baines will probably be my move.
Welbeck is looking a great option from GW8 onwards now though!
If Pelle/Ulloa stop performing, Welbeck is definitely on the cards. Have actually been considering Costa -> Welbeck, then Siggy -> Silva/Walcott etc and bringing in Ivanovic.
That’s a very bold move though, not sure i have the guts for it!
Interesting ideas, wait and see eh! Walcott will HAVE to find a way into my team when he’s back. Absolute gold dust for fantasy footy.
Him and Welbeck as a combination would be points galore…that pace latching onto Ozil/Cazorla balls would be too much for all the lower league clubs! The dream midfield is slacking a bit at the moment (Fabregas/Sterling) so it would be nice for another player to be thrown into the mix.
Precisely. I’m willing to better that nearly everyone on this site will have done Fabregas —–> Walcott by the end of the month. Or Sterling. Or anyone, basically!
Anyways, good luck for his gameweek mate.
Yeah, I’m almost in the same boat as you but instead of Ulloa I have Falcao. 😉
Next gameweek, if people stay fit will be banging one. This GW my defense is a nightmare.
Ulloa -> Welbeck could happen next week for Hull (h) (now there’s no Geovanni to score 35 yard screamers against them) and could even take the armband.
Not sure how i feel about Falcao at the moment…but i do always fancy Monday night games to leak points of all kinds!
So happy I have Falcao in my team, lol. Love the old fashioned number 9, dying breed. Might be risky I capped him but if he starts scoring… ”Goals are like a bottle of kethcup. Sometimes they don’t come no matter how much you push, but later they all come out in one hit.”
Haha “kethcup” nice lisp you got there… 😉
Just noticed that my TV went up £1.6 mil in the first 4 weeks but has now risen by £2 mil in the last 2 weeks alone. Are we back to last years crazy price rises again??

Balotelli ? Bench !
Lambert ?! Really ?!
I said it here there were some rumours on twitter that Balo would be benched and Lambert would play.
Pieters not starting but Dummett is. City to fail tongiht, I hope. 😉
All good for me. I brought Sterling in for Ramsey so I’m pleased he starts. If I have the cash hopefully I can afford Naismith to Welbeck for next GW.
I see you benched Ivan. Big call that!
I know, I wasn’t sure about that either. I just think that with Sanchez and Welbeck Chelsea won’t keep a clean sheet. Chelsea will probs win though.
