Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 7 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW7 doesn’t begin until 3PM on Saturday which feels strange but don’t be deceived by this please – the deadline remains at 11.30AM, UK time.

There are five 3pm games which are-

Hull vs Crystal Palace
Leicester vs Burnley
Liverpool vs West Brom
Sunderland vs Stoke
Swansea vs Newcastle

To conclude your Saturday entertainment Aguero and co take their considerable talent up to face Roy Keane’s beard, aka Aston Villa, at 5.30pm in the early evening kick-off.

Sky Sports’ ‘Super Sunday’ is currently under investigation after a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act last week. (*legal team edit: they’re not). They bloody well should be though. (*legal team edit: they’re really not). Either way this Sunday should prove to be much more interesting as there are four games which will all hold fantasy interest aplenty. Unlike last week (legal: clears throat) –

Man Utd vs Everton 12pm
Chelsea vs Arsenal 2.05pm
Spurs vs Southampton 2.05pm
West Ham vs QPR 4.15pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW7 from all at FF247!

Is Begovic a better prospect than Krul if so why his is price price going down my other option is Wilson for Dummett but he would just sit on bench but could go up in price

Stoke have kept one clean sheet in last 15 away games or something like that but bit of a sideways move to bring in a Newcastle player? If it’s to save some money, I’m looking at Leicester back line for their fixtures.

      • Silverback says:

Hi Web I should have said I have Krul & Dummett so looking @!my options my view is Stk will keep more clean shts soon yes Les have good fixtures but also. Likely to let goals in I might do Krul > Begovic as he will swap with Mannone but thanks for your comments much appreciated

Walla bajas, need some help with my team. Got some problems and some solutions that I’d like your thoughts on.

    Problem A: No Di Maria
Problem B: Herrera injured, not certain to start next match
    Problem C: King not starting
(I’m aware Chambers is suspended, but I’ll leave him on the bench)

Solution 1: Herrera -> Mané, King -> Boyd, Fabregas -> Di Maria (-4, 0.0 itb)
Solution 2: Ivan -> Azpi, Sterling -> Di Maria (0.0 itb)
Solution 3: Ivan -> Duff, Herrera -> Di Maria. (0.4 itb)

Think I prefer solution 3 myself as it leaves me with a stronger mid. Ivan hasn’t delivered much recently and Chelsea are facing Liverpool and United in the next 4. Duff rotates nicely with Moore for some time.
Solution 2 leaves the problem of Herrera and King, and with solution 1 I have to sacrifice Fab which I’m not so sure I want to do.

    Would welcome some thoughts.

      Pippin says:

Hi Tekno. I think of those options, the third is a no-brainer. That’s what I would recommend go for. I know they got a CS today but Chelsea’s defence isn’t as points-good as last year so there’s not much need to cling to them. I am likely to offload Terry soon (though perhaps I’ll save him for the Palace match and lose the disaster that is Coloccini first…)

      • jamesimmo says:

+1 it’s option 3 by a mile, solves your first two problems.

I’m offloading Terry soon too Pippin… was gonna do Terry —–> Baines this week (very tempting) but think ima prioritise Aguero instead.

That way, as you say, will get to keep Terry for the Palace game then abandon ship and use 2FTs the week after.

Chelsea are seemingly less fussed about being watertight these days…

        • Pippin says:

james– Baines is my likely target too (despite his cost, the fixtures are ace). But I don’t quite have 3 great options at the back this week without Terry, so I might get someone in for Colo (or let him play Leicester, but they score quite freely) and then do Baines for JT the next week. Thing is, the price rise over 3 weeks could be pretty large. I took a 4pt hit this week though and want to avoid another.

        • jamesimmo says:

Baines was unlucky today… if he’s scored, that’d be 10+ points and a lot of interest from the average player.

If I want Agüero and Baines, then realistically, I’d have to wildcard and lose one of Fab / Sterling too. Not really keen on that.

So Agüero > Baines in my case sadly. Your defensive logic is sound though. Don’t worry too much as price rises aren’t quite as fast this year.

I’d consider Fab to Chadli.3million cheaper similiar amount of points and some great fixtures. As much as i love Fab he has one assist in 3 games and hasnt scored in 7 premier league games so far. That way you get to keep ivan for now (chelsea have tightened up at the back of late) have enough cash to do Herrera to di maria and can swap ivan to baines later if you so wish.
