The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW7 doesn’t begin until 3PM on Saturday which feels strange but don’t be deceived by this please – the deadline remains at 11.30AM, UK time.
There are five 3pm games which are-
Hull vs Crystal Palace
Leicester vs Burnley
Liverpool vs West Brom
Sunderland vs Stoke
Swansea vs Newcastle
To conclude your Saturday entertainment Aguero and co take their considerable talent up to face Roy Keane’s beard, aka Aston Villa, at 5.30pm in the early evening kick-off.
Sky Sports’ ‘Super Sunday’ is currently under investigation after a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act last week. (*legal team edit: they’re not). They bloody well should be though. (*legal team edit: they’re really not). Either way this Sunday should prove to be much more interesting as there are four games which will all hold fantasy interest aplenty. Unlike last week (legal: clears throat) –

10 points forwards in +400 places, 10 points backwards is -1500 places…its a crazy game.

Heres a thought to think over, the highest scoring players of each gameweek have played on the following days :-
Gw 1–Saturday.
Gw 2–Sunday.
Gw 3–Saturday.
Gw 4–Saturday.
Gw 5–Sunday.
Gw 6–Sunday.
Gw 7–Do we go back to a Saturday again ?
Well it was Fletcher, Saturday. Does this mean gw 8s highest points scorer is playing on the Sunday ?
Nope…ADM is playing on Monday 😉

Don’t know Teks, Liverpool play QPR on Sunday, Sturridge will be back.
If Sturridge ends up being the top scorer next GW, then that’s due to his performance, not which day the top scorer played on in the previous GWs.

Markovic is struggling at the moment. Its depressing to watch at times, but at the end of the day we are only 3 points off top 3 and we’ve already played spurs, Everton, City and Southampton. Feels like a poor start, but if I think that, doesnt seem so bad!
Agree Bash, but having played some of the better teams, we are struggling to deal with the so called lesser teams.
And this brings me back to the 2012-2013 season…
Last games of every gameweek produced a player with a score in the top 3 for that gameweek on around 25-30 occasions (too long ago for me to know specifics)
It was an interesting theory (which most rejected as nonsense) but it took me into the top 5k until GW 38 (all games at the same time ruined me 😉 )
Fantasy gods or just mere coincidence…we will never know 😉

So, managed to somehow survive this GW, with 60 pts (-4) and a small red arrow. The plan was to use the WC this int break but now I’m not 100% sure that’s the right move.
Hazard finally returning good points, Chester starting again and with a CS, Aguero looking scary not to have…
My defence is concerning me and also the lack of Di Maria (but he has bad fixtures in the next 5 and for 10M I think I prefer to keep Hazard) and Rodwell really needs to go but maybe with another -4 I can save the WC for a few weeks more. Quite undecided right now… any thoughts?

If I press the button, my team would be something like the next picture, can’t really fit Di Maria in unless if I ditch Hazard or a big downgrade on Ivanovic…
Still think you can get through without a WC. Rodwell to Chadli if that’s your preference and there really isn’t much else in your starting 11 that changes with the WC in my opinion.

+1. I was also intending to WC in the break, but prices aren’t rising enough to guarantee earning much extra cash, and like mine I think your team is only 1/2 players away from ideal. Tough it out! Save the transfer for an emergency, or else your chosen move at the end of the break.

Hmmm. No need to wildcard yet. Chadli doing well. Only one needing replacement is Dier? You can upgrade Iva to Baines if you want to. Shrugs. Most things can be done with 2 or 3 transfers. I’d rather take a hit if I wanted big changes in my team than using WC. However, you don’t even need to take a hit.
