Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 7 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are final – starting XI, captain and order of your subs has been decided and there ain’t no turning back. GW7 doesn’t begin until 3PM on Saturday which feels strange but don’t be deceived by this please – the deadline remains at 11.30AM, UK time.

There are five 3pm games which are-

Hull vs Crystal Palace
Leicester vs Burnley
Liverpool vs West Brom
Sunderland vs Stoke
Swansea vs Newcastle

To conclude your Saturday entertainment Aguero and co take their considerable talent up to face Roy Keane’s beard, aka Aston Villa, at 5.30pm in the early evening kick-off.

Sky Sports’ ‘Super Sunday’ is currently under investigation after a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act last week. (*legal team edit: they’re not). They bloody well should be though. (*legal team edit: they’re really not). Either way this Sunday should prove to be much more interesting as there are four games which will all hold fantasy interest aplenty. Unlike last week (legal: clears throat) –

Man Utd vs Everton 12pm
Chelsea vs Arsenal 2.05pm
Spurs vs Southampton 2.05pm
West Ham vs QPR 4.15pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW7 from all at FF247!

  1. Just fuucking great. Pieters dropped even though he shouldn’t have been close to dropping. Son of bitch.

    • Oooooooopa. Did my first emo transfer because I was pissed. Pieters to Baines

      • WTF Raz!!! How is that possible! This is getting annoying haha! Last year my TV was around 115 million by Xmas. This year round I think we can be happy with 100! People drop randomly. This FPL people play dirty tricks on us poor managers!!

        • Yeah well, the plan was to do Pieters to Baines but in time so after the transfer I’d have 0.5 in bank still so I could upgrade Dummie to a 4.5 million defender. Now it can only be a 4.4m upgrade which really limits your choices. Anyw, cya later.

  2. Ok. So very close to pulling the trigger here. Looking at an early transfer, even though international break a long period where lots can change. But thoughts are this..

I have 2 ft and .6 in the bank.
    Sterling>chadli and Hutton>baines. Would have .2 left..

    Current team:
    Mannone krul
    Chambers Taylor duff clyne Hutton
Fab sterling siggy di Maria (cork)
    Pelle Aguero costa.

Is there any reason I shouldn’t do this straight away?

    • I pulled trigger because I was hella pissed I didn’t do it yesterday, lol.

      • Or do you think I should do fab>chadli?

        • In all honesty I don’t like the idea of replacing either. Only make transfer if you have to else wait.

    • maple

I don’t like those move mate (either Sterling or Fabregas). I feel I can speak here because I’ve spent about two weeks figuring how to get Baines in and I’ve decided I can’t without weakening my midfield. I can’t justify Sterling (assist on Saturday and away to QPR next) or Fabregas (assist yesterday and Palace next)making way for him. I know Baines has good fixtures head but Everton aren’t keeping clean sheets anywhere.

I like your squad mate. I would get some Stoke in though by upgrading Duff to Wilson or Krul to Begovic with the money and carrying forward a transfer.

  3. Morning all anyone about thinking of changing the following Krul > Begovic or Dummett > Wilson I have Mannone so Beg will swap better but Beg going down in price Wilson could go up in price during break

  4. I’m getting crushed in my own league, hahahah.

    • Look at NIN’s gameweek points, 72. That’s awesome!

  5. Morning All,

Hope everyone has a good scoring week. Courtois going off screwed me out of a few points when everyone else in my league has a chelsea defender & i have the keeper.

Cant decide on my plan going forward so which of these do you think is the best combination:-

    A Ulloa & Baines
B Sahko (west ham not the liverpool donkey) & baines
C Pelle & a 4.5-4.8 defender (most probably chambers when he’s back from suspension but open to suggestions. Already have N taylor )

    Thoughts appreciated

    Cheers

    • Hey hammers.
Sakho is on form and could well keep going with the scoring, the only problem I have is that he is hard to transfer out if you ever have to, because of his low price. The same goes for Ulloa. I prefer Sakho over Ulloa so I’d go with B. Baines is a must-have so that’s why I wouldn’t go for C.

      • Cheers Ruben,

So you prefer big at the back rather than big up top then!

        • Well I would say that Baines is more than a defender because he takes all of Everton’s set pieces. He has great chance of assists and goals + the chance of a 4 point CS which strikers don’t get.

        • Also I believe defenders get more points for a goal than striker does.

        • Yep.

  6. How does this sound?

    Dyer – Chadli

    Schneiderlin – Downing

    • Will Downing be your 5th mid and sit on the bench?

      • yeah downing will be the 5th mid.

    • Hey Tom, could you check out my comment from earlier this morning? It’s in the “latest comments” section. Cheers smile

      • thats very unlucky mate
