Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

So…
What are we all doing with mahrez?
Keeping. He was just rested I think.
Keeping him, got other issues to deal with so I’m hoping he was just rested
Nothing. Ranieri said there were one or two who were fatigued that needed a rest and so he presumably he was one of those. He’s been arguably the player of the league so far this season. He’ll be straight back in next time.
Cool
Cheers.
James – u in Oz?
Nope. I love in the garden of England mate
Not sure why I thought that so
I’ve only just realised Pedro and Wanyama dropped this week. Damnit! Pedro will probably drop tonnes more this break too. The more who sell the better though I guess – differentials are key – but still…
Might finally start doing some work for Uni now!![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
James – u in uni? Thought u were older than that…
Aye man I’m 18 until November 29th. Seems fairly old to me… 😉
Nope. I live in the garden of England mate

At last.![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
Just hope more of my old players get injured to justify my decision 😉
Wow, rose from 602,939 to 95,806. Anyone else have similar (or bigger!) jumps in ranking?
800K (so far)…with 4 to play…
879,129—>157,431….pretty decent I think

Pretty pleased with that.
977k to 173k

Great to see everyone on the site finally get what they deserve – some nice big green arrows!

693,298 —> 277,225
1.6 million places
Evening all,
Hope everyone picked capt kun this week. 86pts so far with ddg,Williams, darmian, Sanchez & martial still to come.
My question is :-
Is it time to ditch Sagna now that zabs is back? If so should I go kolorov to keep with the city cover. At least with cliche out he will play.
Hi hammers, yeah his time is up I think. Will probably still get the odd game given the CL involvement but Zaba will likely be back as 1st choice. Kolarov still seems viable to me.
Would it be worth swapping him for zabs or am I going to be convened with rotation every week still
*concerned not convened
I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with him given the rotation risk. If Kolarov is within reach then I’d do that but if not then look elsewhere for a more nailed on starter.
Thanks initt
Yes time to ditch. Kolorov pretty expensive now if u don’t have is high. West Brom defender maybe? Dawson?
City’s fixtures are great though. So would like some city cover still
Kolarov then…
Though, DDG + Darmian sounds like too much Utd cover for me, at least…
Especially with their schedule in the next few wks…
Yep gonna downgrade darmian to get the funds to up Sagna to kolorov or maybe even zabs
OK, a few questions…
1) Jonny Evans injury – how serious is it ?
2) Why (on earth) was Mahrez benched ?
3) 4.5mil – max – > replacement for Wanayama ( a bench warmer/most of the time) ?
4) 4.0 mil (playing) replacement for Oxford ?
Hi HL,
1. Needs a scan on a hammy. Will miss the internationals at the very least.
2. Just rested. Ranieri said a few were tired. He was one.
3. I went Drinkwater in that bracket so I’ll assume without looking again that there weren’t many other options.
4. Browning at Everton was the best I could come up with there but didn’t bother given their next few fixtures and by the time they’re a viable option again I wasn’t sure if he still would be as he’s filling in across the back line at RB and LB but Coleman could be back and Oviedo will be in contention soon and Galloway seems to be the slightly preferred ‘kid who fills in’ too.
Good answers from Init so
3) why? Waste of trf
4) none at 4 imho
Init – hats off to you, mate !
Tnx a lot…
@ Dreamers…
3) Not playing + dropping in value…
4) Guess he’ll stay…as can’t find anyone else w/in that price range…
