Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Anyone here thinks Martial and Skrtel can outscore Gomis by 9 points?

I might get that first place in my mini league if that happens. laugh

Looks like it. Not really surprising!

They played well the first half yesterday. Dude seems to be way too emotional every game. Think about health first. Team dominated whu first half, lucky goal and dumb red card changed everything in the second half. Borini should have made it 3-0 in that first half.

      • lukealike says:

Yea they did well, then stupid mistakes. They shoulda been 3-0 when the guy missed an open goal somehow. Then the booking was their un-doing. Either way a draw is an ok result but dissappointing for them. With the manager threatening to quit for the last couple of weeks and has been looking like he wants to kill himself. Its probably admirable they managed to even get themselevs in a position of 2-0 up to begin with, considering morale is probably rock bottom.

Guys want to bring in mane and payet somehow.dont want to lose hazard/ silva either.hazard faces villa in the next gw.what to do? Also have issues with baker, sagna and wanyama..suggestions needed.team is linked..

      • lukealike says:

Both are good, but I would say Payet more important to have. Both are the backbones of their teams attack, must haves maybe

        • lukealike says:

man why does evryone panic buy on saturday just after games, so annoying I was struggling to afford De Bruyne as it is and he has gone up over night. Tssk impatient ilogical people, why dont they wait till closer to next epl games. very annoying, if I dont bring him in today then he is going to be what half a mill more in 2 weeks time

        • constantine says:

lukealike, i believe thats coz of the reverse psychology that “if i am late, i might lose on the price hikes”, not knowing that this itself cause the prices to rise. although, its always a huge risk to get someone into the team at this very early stage of an intnl break. anything can happen in these two weeks. i’m going to hold for sometime too.

        • lukealike says:

well im think my hand has been forced now I must get De Bruyne today before he goes up anymore which is annoying cause really i dont want to, and still disgruntled paying so much for him. Going to have to lose a a good midefielder like Mata or Eriksen for him that doesnt sit well with me. IDK why I didnt get DeBuryne at the start when he came. Fail on my part big time, I just ingored him hoping he would go away., becuase of his massive cost

      Silvers says:

Morning Constantine your MF looks strong enough it would be difficult to not lose 1 off San , Silva or Haz & for Mane Payet it’s not worth it.
Change Sagan & upgrade Baker @ same time.

      • constantine says:

cheers silvers. thats some great piece of “peace” for me there.its just that payet looks in tremendous form and mane currently is the Silva for soton.the main playmaker. so, he’ll be linked with max of the goals. i know people would be jumping on Pelle now but i dont find him that good. but as suggested, i’ll take care of sagna and baker first. i still have my WC with me though..

      The B says:

Sort out Sagna first. Replace him with Kolarov, or get someone from Swansea/Spurs.

      • lukealike says:

wihtout Kompany I think they are a bit weak, since i bought in Kolorov he has either got minus points or like 1 or 2. Thinking of kicking him out soon. IDK when Kompany is back, spurs is not a bad call. Alder, Dier or Lloris all good

      • constantine says:

B, I have to agree with lukealike here. City def w/o Kompany looks in shambles.i wud wait for Kompany to get back and till then may be go for swansea cover as they have good fixtures ahead and might give one or two odd cleanies.thanks there buddy
