Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

Who would you rather have in your team?
Mane or pelle
I think I prefer Mane. However there is not an abundance of decent strikers. Much more options in midfield
FDMS
Pelle for me.
Tough one – pelle just…..
Better questions…..
1)Which 5 players would you have in your midfield regardless of price (give in order and start from the best)
2)Which 3 strikers would you have in your attack regardless of price (give in order and start from the best)
Are you on wild card? I’m interested in these answers
FDMS
1) KdB, Sanchez, Mata, Payet, Mahrez
2) Aguero, Pelle, Vardy
1. KDB Alexis payet Walcott silva
2. Kun pelle Sturridge
been looking online for Senegal world cup fixtures and as far as I can tell they’re not playing any in September . can anyone confirm this? are the playing friendlies this break ? planning on Pedro > Mane and both changing in price tonight . thanks
roberto
Quite right. This international break is for the lower seeded African teams to begin their WC qualification. Senegal play a two-legged match in November.
They have two friendlies against Algeria and Guinea on 13th and 16th October and Mane is selected for them. I’m sure some agreement will be in place for him to be released but if not and he plays, he isn’t a good option for facing Leicester the day after.
cheers
Evening everyone, so Brendan is gone, right decision? I think he should have been given till at least Christmas but he has been poor.
Now down to business, I know it’s international break time but want to do the transfers before any price rises. Thinking of doing Hazard to Sanchez and Gomis to Pelle. What do you guys think? ? Or should I get rid of Sterling and Gomez??
Hey MattX how are we mate really didn’t know Rogers went he is a good manager should have been given longer.
His results haven’t been good enough but then you look at Chelsea and they have been worse yet Jose is still there. Like I said I think he should have gotten till Xmas so the new boys could be given a good look at but oh well.
Vc worked out well there Matt.
Oh thats an old screenshot mate. I switched to Kun late Friday night and was just to lazy to take another screenshot haha. If only I had remembered the triple cap chip.
Got 109 points which is brilliant but….
My all out attack has now been wasted as Mahrez randomly didn’t play lol so I ended the week with three defenders again. Williams and his 1 point.
gunners
I’d call that a ‘win’ regardless of playing the AoA chip. Brilliant score.
am I the only one on 99 ?!?!
roberto
Haven’t heard any others – still a top score.
