Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW8 is live! We start the week off with a lunch time affair between Palace and West Brom. Palace brings the almost all useable, but none consistent enough to be used in FPL mids versus the Baggies all useable defenders as long as they are playing away. After that early kick off we follow it up with five, 3pm fixtures. The Villans battle Barca B (Stoke City) in an early relegation battle, newly promoted Watford pay a visit to the Wilson-less Bournemouth side, in other action Newcastle take on a Manchester City side that is playing like…well, Newcastle. The Canaries tangle with the recently perch dropped Leicester side after Mahrez and company got beat down at the hands of Arsenal. 3rd place West Ham gets their chance to fill their boots when they face the criminally inept Sunderland defence. In the last fixture of the day we see the strangely enough fun (funny at times) as heck Mourinho side face off against Southampton who is known to at times get into up and down affairs. Expect a 0-0 now.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Merseyside Derby gets us going. A surprising Everton side takes on the evil genius Brendan Rodgers. By evil we mean funny and by genius we also mean funny. After Rodgers finishes up with his party trick formations, we get some more when LVG takes his first place side to visit a 4th place side. Any idea who could be in 4th? Just guess, it is very obvious… that’s right Arsenal!! Wenger will feel relieved knowing he has already taken control of his ultimate objective and undoubtedly will have proved naysayers wrong again. Who needs a striker? Not Wenger! In the other fixture the Swans play host to the resurgent Spurs. Spurs of course are in 6th place, perfectly in line for a Europa spot, again.

Hi All
89 points and still not happy. I must have Sanchez now and am prepared to take a hit. Pedro and Depay out will leave me 6.7 but I’m looking to save about 1.0. For GK and Defender upgrades. Any thoughts?
Forgot the full team, as follows:
Myhill/McCarthy
Sagna,Martin, Ward, Nyom, Richards
Mahrez, Silva, Payet, Pedro, Depay
Aguero, Vardy, Martial
MTomo
Redmond of Norwich or Kouyate of West Ham would be seen as “safe” options.
I like Dele Alli of Tottenham though – I’ve noticed he has played 90 minutes the last three games. One goal and two assists to his name in the league so far. Keeps that up and he won’t be £4.9M for long.
Thanks GP. That’s great advice as I’d only considered Redmond
Would you have kolarov or zabeleta in your wc team?
Kolarov personally.
May as well forget trying to predict clean-sheets so yes I’d take one of those as both will produce attacking returns sporadically. Probably take Kol for now given the lesser chance of rotation.
Kolarov
terrible weekend for united . beaten by the gooners and Brenda gone . might be time to sell on martial , everyone in my league seems to have him .
These bloody price changes are really p—ing me off I wanted to wait but doesn’t look like I can.
Pelle?
sorry about firing questions at you guys, but I need to set my team today so that TV can build over the 2 weeks…..
Final, I promise….mata or Walcott in your wc team? Considering mata plays Everton and Man City next and Walcott looks to have secured the spot upfront.
However, mata has been in fine form till today and Walcott could be prone to rotation?
I’d go for Wally due to fixtures mate.
Walcott
Yeah Wally given fixtures but also assuming you have a decent sub to replace him as and when and a shed load of patience and a good sense of humour! That said, even when he doesn’t occasionally start he’s always a good bet to impact from the bench. I’d be willing to bet the majority of his goals in the last 20 games have been from the bench.
Anyone know why Sako didn’t play ?????
He was benched as he told Pardew he wasn’t a real Lord. :big-lol:
Palace seem to be playing a forward now. They did try Bolasie up top. I expect zaha and Sako to rotate. Though surprised he did not come on
Simply rotation Silvers.
Pardew seems quite keen on it which is worrying. Looks like he’ll be sharing time with all the other attackers there – Zaha, Bolasie, Gayle etc.
I note he has also rotated a few other positions – McCarthy and Hennessey of course and Ledley and McArthur to play alongside Cabaye.
Thanks all appreciate the feed back Ell I will have words with you later you must be in mourning.
Mourning what ?
