Can someone please talk me out of dropping Costa for Pelle? Costa out up to 3 weeks and with Aguero in form Costa seems less must-have now.
If I make a move it will be Costa > Pelle and Van Aanholt > Bertrand, with 2mil left in the bank to make further defensive improvements. With Pelle & Bertrand set to rise tonight, if I’m going to make the move I want to do it today.
Thoughts?
You’ve already got Kun, so the intensity of your question lessens slightly.
You could avoid the incoming Costa price drops by jumping ship to Pelle now, which in my eyes is a solidly rationale’do transfer, but you do not NEED to take out VanA as you have plenty of other playing defenders you can call upon. Unless it’s essential, try and avoid taking 4pt hits.
Yessssssssssssss
Sterling is genius
Afternoon fellas,
Yesterday was a funny one. At about 13.10, when Ageuro was well on his way to start scoring and the news was filtering through about Costa, I thought it was going to be the WORST. My closest rival in my mini league had Costa C and Aguero VC. However, the day went well! And can get even better for the rest of this game week when Siggy and ADM do their business!
Anyway, the issues with transfers are
1. Costa, will he play? If not, we have a very obviously Kun shaped replacement
2. I firmly believe Rahheem is going to be world class, but his team mates don’t seem too bothered and are intent on making it as hard as possible for him, which is hurting his Fantasy potential.
3. If Costa doesn’t play, I need a stronger bench.
Possible transfers:
– Isgrove to Boyd (something I’ve been wanting to address since GMWK 1)
– Sterling to Barkley?
– Hazard isn’t justifying his high price! Plus I think the average priced midfielders and forwards are definitely worth punts this year, as the higher prices guys certainly aren’t big hitting.
Be great to hear what you guys think.
Reports saying Costa could be out 3 weeks & I’m debating dropping him myself. Would love your thoughts on my post above.
Hazard definitely not justifying his price – would drop him for Fab, who seems like the must-have mid for Chelsea this year.
Completely agree with your take on Sterling – he’s a special talent but without a healthy Sturridge in the side it will be hard for Sterling’s star to shine. Balo is just terrible.
Brilliant punt on Sakho – that differential should see you with a nice rise this week I would assume?
Cheers!
Hey Lawdog it depends what you paid for Costa & if you could get him back & who your other fwd are
1-1.
Expected!
:noshake:
2-2
