So an assist and potentially 2 bonus for Sterling.

Been away with the fam. See Sterling just got an assist and probably will grab 2 bps. Nice farewell to him. Sold him yesterday but he’ll give me 7 points. laugh

Not sure if it will be enough for me to keep Sterling but 7 points gratefully received.

It is amazing what a difference an assist to an OG in injury time can have-I was thinking about getting him out all the way through the game but now I feel like there’s bigger things to think about before his transfer haha!

      • Raziel says:

Hmmm, I already replaced him with Tadic. Dude has a midweek game versus Real Madrid. He played the full 90 now. Really don’t think he’ll be 100 percent next week. On that note, he does grab his fair share of points.

        • AT says:

Do you have Pelle? Or is that another reason behind the transfer?

        • Raziel says:

Yeah I have Pelle. Yeah, freeing up some cash so I can spend it on getting Kun if needed (depending on how serious Costa injury really is). now at the end of this gameweek I can either replace Costa or Falcao if needed.

        • AT says:

I was thinking Moreno and Zaha for Hutton and Barkley but Tadic could work..

        • Raziel says:

Southampton are awesome at the moment. I really like their attacking options. JWP is injured so now Tadic takes all set pieces. They have like 4 or 5 really kind fixtures left after that I might swap them in for new players. Well, the goalie will go first if that happens. Think they can score against any team and their defense is pretty solid as well with:
          Forster
          Clyne – Fonte – Toby – Bertrand

In my opinion they have a better team than Everton, Liverpool or Spurs.

        • Raziel says:

Tadic > Barkley in every sense. Only reason Barkley is being hyped up so much is because he’s young and English.

        • AT says:

Agreed that he is better but not cheaper and I may not be able to bring in Aguero if his price rises in the next two weeks (which it inevitably will).

My thoughts on Sterling: he is certainly not at his best right now (tiredness or whatever) and the team around him aren’t performing too well. However, he will still be up and around the goals whenever Liverpool get forward. If you need to lose him to fund Aguero or another ‘season keeper’, for example, it’s worthwhile, but I am not rushing to offload him myself just yet: other things to fix first. He has a couple of good fixtures still, even potentially coming off the bench (as yes, the Real Madrid matches may impact his game time).
