Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 9 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW9 is live! The International break is over and what better way to celebrate it than a Europa derby. That’s right perennial European patsies get us going with a lunch time affair as Klopp makes his debut vs a Spurs side who are lurking right outside their coveted Europa qualifying spot. We follow the Normal One’s debut with six 3pm fixtures. The “Special One” Sherwood takes on Average Jose at Stamford Bridge, we also see future English manager Pardew play host to the Hammers. In other action the Toffees look to continue where Arsenal left off as they play host to the recently exposed Manchester “Milli Vanilli” United. The Cherries look to take advantage of a weakened City at the Ethiad, while Raineri continues to f**k with us all with his team sheets as they visit Southampton and the New Giroud, Graziano Pelle. In the last of the 3pm games Big Sam and his latest chewing gum will look to take advantage of a West Brom side who has been leaking in goals recently. We finish our Saturday off with the Gooners in all their early season glory looking to continue their great domestic run versus Watford before they embarrass themselves in the Champions League again.
On Sunday we have one fixture…sort of. The Canaries visit Newcastle in a game that will mostly be ignored by all, and should be.
Monday sees the end of the game-week when the Swans (winless in last 4) look to get back on track against a Stoke side who, after going winless in their first six, have now won their last two.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW9 from all at FF247!
Morning everyone.
Hope we are all happy this morning.
A word of advice as we think about our next moves, we have Champions League and Europa League this midweek and some of these games, particularly for Arsenal against Bayern Munich, are vital for qualification so they’ll undoubtedly get priority and full strength teams will play.
Be wise to hold on any moves until after Thursday.
Bollox to that GP, transfer already made![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
What you done – Rooney to vardy?![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
Igloo to Vardy
:noshake:
Good move though Cookie.
Vardy is looking immense.
Hee hee – GP your point is of course 100% correct. However it is time for me to get Vardy anyway, his goals and ownership are holding me back so I’d have got him anyway, regardless of injuries elsewhere.
If someone gets injured midweek I’ll hit if need be. As we have learnt a 4pt hit to get the correct players in does pay. If one gets the right players!
Cookie,
I considered for ages on Friday Kolarov to Bellerin for a hit. I sat tight. That one would have worked but I’m still strangely satisfied that I restrained myself.
Anyway, I’m still happy with my 51 with Butland, Naughton and Ayew to go. Red arrows though!
Good discipline GP but those points would of been great. Wished I’d got Bellerin instead of Bertie but there you go.
Those red arrows will likely turn green by the end of Monday night mate.
Nice captain call Cookie.
Cheers Dreamers – in all honesty I can’t see Costa being in my team too long!
Thanks GP.
We both are playing H2H this GW in some league, seems like you will win it with 3 players remaining.![laugh](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/laugh.gif)
B
Didn’t realise that. I don’t pay much attention to H2H matches. Regular leagues for me are the ones that matter.
Sorry . . .
Well, bugger off then.
Thoughts on ozil and sterling?
Both inconsistent – one very ugly the other very chippy.
Cheers cookie – your input is appreciated as always![smile](https://fantasyfootball247.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/kama-wp-smile/packs/qip/smile.gif)
Am I wrong though?
I have wally in team at moment and thinking of swapping him for ozil… Giroud looking for his place back and wally not getting any kind of bonus point tally. Ozil could be a better option (already got Sanchez). Cant stand sterling to be honest. Usually hopeless in front of goal. Making the most of absent players and getting a bit of luck. Having said that he got the points yesterday
Ozil is starting to pick up some points 5, 13 & 12 in his last 3 – he’s not a bad price
Still inconsistent compared to so many others. He’ll have 3/4 decent games then hibernate again.
If he carries on for another 3 GW’s would you consider?
Absolutely not – for if that does happen then his hibernation is closer than we think on the law of percentages.
Sanchez is enough Gooner for me mate, attacking wise anyway.
I think Sterling will do well with Bony playing.
Ozil is good, consistently picks up the odd points, but I’d never be confident to captain him.
Not really best options if you need cover from these teams, since the priority will always go to KDB and Sanchez. But both teams are scoring good amount of goals, so additional coverage can be taken through Sterling/Ozil.
hey B – what about when Silva is back?
Next 10 mins prob decides if Ireland will go further or not in the rugby. Horrible start.
Yesterday finally pushed me over the edge and my WC is active!
Begovic / Elliot
Bellerin / Rojo / Walker / Moreno / Galloway
Sanchez / KDB / Mata / Payet / Watson
Pelle / Bony / Vardy
Could go cheaper in defence and upgrade Watson but anyone at the level of Hoolahan or above would cause a selection headache every other week and from past experiences I can never pick the correct starter. Also have Sterling in for Mata atm hoping he’ll rise by 0.2m this GW, cant really see anyone outside of this team doing so.
Main questions are: Hennessey or Elliot? Walker or Cedric? Best 4.3m mid to have?
Ireland back in this also, c’mon!!
Rambo:
Game over I’m afraid in the rugby. Gutted.
On to your team.
Keepers – I understand
Defence – Rojo? No no no
Galloway wont play – if you know that fair enough
Spurs – Walker isnt the offensive player he was. If Rose has recovered his position he is the one for me.
Whats your Aguero plan? How many moves (and hits) to get him back in?
Elliot; Janmaat, Mbemba, Coloccini, Dummett; Tiote, Colback, Sissoko, Wijnaldum; Perez, Mitrovic.
Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Redmond, Dorrans, Tettey, Brady; Howson; Mbokani.
Witch of doom or whatever his name is scores for N’castle with a Sissoko assist, NUFC playing well so far, could do with a win this afternoon (CS as well please)
Well that didn’t take long, Norwich score, well how about that.
CS gone Andy – quiet on here
Back ahead with the same two combining again Dreamers, what happened to Ireland I missed that game? Looks like an all Southern Hemisphere WC now.
